I guess we will see but I am doubtful unless the law has real teeth that will significantly impact the executives personally. Given how long it has taken to address social media exploitation gives me little hope we will really address any of the issues in a meaningful way and worse as AI will bring more issues that will likely go unchecked for decades.
I'm not in the USA, so, maybe that's where my optimism comes from.
My neither but I doubt mine and likely your government to is not doing anything to really protect either. In fact they are likely eroding your privacy under the guise of child protection
