3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.

Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.

Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.

9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.

All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.

A lawmaker from the far-right Otzma Yehudit party told the Knesset on Wednesday that "there are no innocent civilians, no innocent children in Jenin."

MK Yitzhak Kroizer's comments came after a Palestinian family with two children was gunned down by Israeli forces in the West Bank earlier this month.

This is the exact same type of person who would say that Jews are being persecuted and dehumanized around the world simply for being Jewish. This is the type of person who will give a speech about how the Nazis would gun down Jewish children in the street and cry tears of sorrow for how his people were treated.

EDIT: In case it isn't clear, both of those things did happen. I was just pointing out the lack of awareness.

Jews were heavily oppressed in the past but they no longer are. Jews are currently one of the most privileged demographics in the world. An amazing article about this: Jews Are NOT Oppressed: The Myth of Systemic Antisemitism

This isn't really about Palestinians living through hell, for you, eh?

This isn’t really about Palestinians living through hell, for you, eh?

At the heart of every argument within the spectrum of Zionism lies the uncritically accepted belief that Jews are an eternally oppressed people and that antisemitism is a constant, rampant threat. The charge of antisemitism often functions as a thought-terminating cliché, deployed not only by staunch Zionists but even by well-meaning individuals who identify as pro-Palestine. Yet few pause to critically examine this assumption. What is the actual reality of Jewish oppression today, and how does contemporary antisemitism compare to the narrative so widely accepted?

This article critically debunks several widely held assumptions in Western discourse through a materialist lens: the notion that Jews are systemically oppressed, that antisemitism represents a unique form of bigotry, the alleged uniqueness of the Holocaust in human history, and assertions that Zionism lacks broad support among Jewish communities. By analyzing demographic patterns, socioeconomic data and historical comparisons, these narratives collapse under evidentiary scrutiny, revealing how the perpetual “antisemitism crisis” discourse primarily serves to shield Israel from criticism while justifying its policies of occupation and apartheid. The material conditions of global Jewish communities demonstrate privilege rather than persecution, even as this myth of universal, eternal victimhood gets weaponized to suppress Palestinian solidarity movements worldwide.
