Then don't make threats you're not prepared to act on.
Don't draw red lines then let the enemy cross them or the enemy will never take you seriously. The very fact they're already attacking you in such a massive operation and seeking regime change shows the time for deterrence by words is long gone and the time for deterrence by deeds has arrived.
My brother in Christ it's information warfare. You say whatever you need to to minimise harm to yourself while also ensuring you don't do shit that turns the world on you and makes the unhinged lunatics even worse.
If Iran attacks a nuclear power plant, it's going to very likely get nuked, and irrespective of what anyone here thinks, that will be the end of the war with a decisive loss for Iran. No exceptions.
But at the same time, Iran needs to get the message across that their last laugh would be making Israel as uninhabitable as possible.
War isn't the time to get into emotions. You do whatever is necessary to win on top of minimising your losses. Iran is in for the long run. A war of attrition is the best approach for Iran.
