I'm looking to set up personal mail using my own domain, and Purelymail's model/pricing works great for my intended usage (a couple mailboxes on different domains). Unfortunately, I am not so excited about where it is domiciled.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an alternative that offers similar pricing/features, but run out of a more privacy respecting country? Or, failing that, out of Canada so at least my few dollars stay locale.

Migadu doesn't fit the bill, as there are days I send more than 20 emails - putting me on the 90 USD/year tier for which I could get Infomaniak's mail service for 2 users at ~40€/year.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Are you talking about business email or personal email. For myself, I use mailbox.org, which is based in Germany (relatively good in the modern world). They also provide encryption at rest by pgp if you request it, which isn't nothing I guess.

Personal, I edited the main post.

Thanks for the mention of mailbox.org, it looks pretty good albeit a bit pricier than Infomaniak. The family accounts option looks interesting. Cheers.
