[Musk] has said Colossus will require 2,000 MW to power its expansion.

What? 2 gigawatts? Wtf. I looked up estimated conversions and that’s enough energy to power 1.5 million homes for a year. That’s insane that one rich prick can push city officials and government to give him the OK to indirectly murder people and the environment — all in the name of AI and getting it to spew his batshit crazy ketamine fueled delusions.
