it basically just swaps the art and sprites into anthropomorphic representations of each non-player character, and that's it. there's another mod that allows you to make your player character a furry too! it looks so cute and the pixel art is so well done. i've never used mods before so this is all new to me. i'm just excited cause i think this is such a fun way to get back into the game (≧▽≦)

(oh and it's called "anthro characters continued" btw)

it's cause i love bubble bobble and was looking for the arcade version i used to play and when i found it that's what the file was named. i just think that's the funniest abbreviation ever. i feel like they didn't want to commit to abbreviating it to bubbob and were like those extra e's and b's are just too much x3

but i don't think i could ever save up enough to commission someone for one, at least not for a very long time ahhhhhh

i've been seeing some folks making a fursuit head out of paper though which sounds really interesting and creative??? the ones that i've seen look really cool and intricate, and i already have paper and tape hmmm i am thinking about it...

i also saw some tutorials for sewing a tiny carry around plush doll base that you can customize to look like your sona which i really want to make. literally having a mini me in my pocket would be so cute!!!??? i would bring it everywhere

Your task is simple. Survive, no matter what. At the same time it is very difficult, you must not become like one of them. That is the only way to make their hearts bleed.

Stay human, no matter what.

Btw if anyone knows of an org that collects money only for the sake of helping people of Cuba, not using a single cent of the donations for their own expenses, please let me know.

And please do critique me and throw any insult at me, if you think I'm not doing enough. I demand to be driven to the point I am unable to not act.

This is a dead ditch rank with despair’s backwater. A brisk wind can’t raise a ripple from its skin. Why not junk some more scrap tin and copper here, or dump your rotten dinner leftovers in.

Maybe the copper will turn to an emerald green, and peach blossoms bloom out of the tin pots’ rust. Then let the grease weave a layer of silk brocade where germs brew a mist like twilit clouds at dusk.

Let the dead ditchwater ferment to green liquor bubbling up floating pearls out of its white foam, little pearls growing to bigger pearls in chuckles that burst when liquor-raiding mosquitos come.

And so a dead ditch rank with despair’s backwater can claim something lively, bright and all its own. If the frogs here can’t handle the solitude this stagnant muck can gurgle them up a tune!

This is a dead ditch rank with despair’s backwater. No place for a Thing of Beauty in its juice. Let’s just let Hellion Ugliness culture it and see what kind of world it can produce.

I've been down on my luck lately and I came across this Poet while researching Anna Louise Strong, they're buried in the same cemetery. I hope my art and writing has even 0.0001% impact theirs has had. None of the locals seem to want to work with me, idk if it's because I lack the skills, am being replaced by machines or it's due to prejudices, but it's a shame I truly just wished to make the world a better place.

It kind of bothers me because I think every human being who's willing is capable of learning, but to be treated as being unable to learn makes me feel like I'm being treated as less than human. I hope one day prejudices will be able to be set aside and the world will be full of flowing fresh waters, for everybody.

  • They live in massive colony complexes with as many as hundreds of thousands of members (I'm an urbanite to the core and I want to live in an arcology)
  • All their food goes into a communal store that any ant can take from when they're hungry (based)
  • They collectively work to maintain the colony. There is no "those people" or "that neighborhood" (based)
  • Children raised collectively - no nepo babies, no orphans (based)
  • Most of them are unconcerned with having children - the colony itself is their legacy (extremely relatable)
  • Some species readily integrate "orphan ants" (those who have lost their queen); within days, they're family (contrast this to how our own media talks about stateless people and refugees)
  • When one of them is attacked, a whole swarm jumps into the fray to protect each other, compensating for individual weakness with unity of purpose and sheer numbers (we call that solidarity)

Ants are fucking awesome. I want to be more like them bug-facts
