What does magazine mean in this website ??🤔🤔🤔

Tried making a post to !videogames@piefed.social, but when I sent it, both the page that would load next (the post's page) and the magazine's other pages I could previously access, started throwing a 404 error.

The community in the original instance appears unreachable, and on Mbin, either through different IPs from a VPN or accessing while logged off in private window, m/videogames@piefed.social/* pages remain inaccessible.

Also can tell The/Brain/Bin tried sending the post before nuking everything because it still appears on an instance that doesn't delete unreachable posts.

Is this a glitch, or an expected behavior?

Is there anyone out here who's worked on evilwm with conky ??

I have now installed and configured anubis for thebrainbin and re-enabled public access. Please report any issues observed with it :)

Saw a post about a community moving from a Lemmy instance to there, but the linked new community opens the external link, not thebrainbin's local link or search link, as seen in the attached image.

Searching manually also finds no results, and the federation page doesn't mention anything abnormal about piefed.social.

So as the title asks, is it some issue with communities, or just a sync yet to happen?

Some two months ago, the restriction was announced to see what may have been the reason of a very high CPU usage.
As per title, any news on reverting it, or no plans to yet?

Well the CPU or mainboard of my homeserver which is responsible for image hosting just gave up... Because it is 9pm here I will not be able to fix it until tomorrow. I am very sorry and very angry about it as this never happened to me and I was very much not expecting this on a friday evening...

Hi everybody, due to a very high CPU utilization I temporarily restricted access to the site to logged in users, as I am not sure if it is just very aggressive scraper bots or actual user load. If the CPU utilization does not go down I will upgrade the server, but I suspect that it is just the bots that drive the high utilization

It gave an error (code 500 I think) but created the post anyway. But when I visit sopuli directly, the post does not appear. Is this a federation problem?

BTW, this local post herein had the same error.
