Jesus Christ, whoever wrote this "article" has no idea what they're talking about. The researchers achieved sub-zero temperatures with a solid refrigerant, which is impressive. It has however absolutely nothing to do with climate change, because the heat still has to go somewhere. And the point that gas refrigerants are horrible greenhouse gases is not generally true anymore. Most new systems use gases as refrigerants that have equal or less impact on the atmosphere than co2 if they're released into the atmosphere. And that only happens if the loop is damaged, under normal operation it should stay sealed.

But that doesn't matter in case of EVs, since 800/400V refers to the battery voltage. The motors are driven by variable voltage and frequency AC that is completely decoupled from the battery voltage.

I don't think Volvo will fall. Volvo is owned by Geely which is one of more successful Chinese automaker, that has a significant presence outside of china with brands like Volvo, Polestar and Zeekr. So if Volvo disappears it will most likely be because of a decision to retire the brand.

Agree on stellantis and nissan though.

One aspect I haven't seen mentioned yet is the rise of local premium cola brands in recent years. Brands like Fritz Kola, Afri Cola and Mio Mio have taken a significant chunk out of Coca colas marketshare without competing on price. Instead, they focus on standout features like higher caffeine levels, local bottling in reusable glass bottles, and/or organic ingredients. And since it's working, more and more companies are jumping on the bandwagon, like the red bull, the brewery Flensburger and even some localised water bottling brands all offer their own colas now.

In light of this, this advertising campaign from coca cola feels like a desperate move to me.

Honestly, I've given up on Pop OS and cosmic. System76 clearly overestimated their abilities with the decision to develop their own desktop environment. As a result they have been in development limbo for cosmic for multiple years now and at the same time have abandoned their existing distro and its users. Pop OS is still based on Ubuntu 22.04 with no official upgrade path.

Keep in mind that this post is by a company that offers one of the options they compare. So there is an obvious conflict of interest, and I wouldn't trust the conclusions that were reached

I have an Ender 3 V3 SE, never did a firmware update and haven't had any issues with bed levelling. The auto calibration does its job pretty reliably for me. However, mine had some issues with the gantry being at not quite right angle. It could still print, but it got much better after printing and inserting the appropriate shims under the z-rail mounts.
