in a way we can view it as a term to mean "LYING" about how you succeeded. How did you get so in shape for your role? Clean diet and exercise. How did you make your first million? Pulling myself into the air by my bootstraps.

current events teaching me that terrorism does solve problems.
brother, we're so beyond this type of posting. congratulations: you've found a crumb of smugness amongst the wreckage of our present lives.
Its like if we replaced horses with a flock of birds. Now theres a bunch of birds eating all the seeds and you keep trying to put horse sized saddles on them
I consider generative AI to be a technological breakthrough - that's the pattern we've settled into for progress: long plateaus and then rapid iteration on anything that breaks the plateau. Obviously, it is a small one and no one where remotely close to what people claim or want it to be. It does serve to demonstrate how unerringly, completely FUCKED we are if we ever get close to artificial intelligence. We blew up the economy after inventing artificial stupidity. We're fated to rug-pull eachother into the stratosphere gambling on how long until we accidentally nuke ourselves.
I can see an ideal way this could have gone, like we could have someone with authority like Cameron say: "hey fanbase: this person is the face that inspired the design for the character we made -- because we did not mete out an agreement in advance it is now up to the courts to determine how to monetarily compensate her for her contribution to the work."
I'm not an artist, but I would like to be, I am interested in preserving what I will call the "chain of inspiration" in making something. What inspired you to create this thing?, what works did you copy from and how did you translate them into your own work? I think this is instructive for people who want to make art... but when it comes to for-profit projects like a hollywood film it'd be a huge expense that studios will fight against.
crazy thought, what if this was the end-goal of the AI pump and dump? Tech firms now have a runway for initiating nuclear weapons programs under the guise of managing their electricity needs.
I just think his books are better as ideas. I don't think his writing style is engaging. I shouldn't have commented on your post. I recently DNF'd down and out in the magic kingdom and posted out of reflex.
in terms of solving the literacy crisis through book recommendations; surely we can do better than this boring dude.
just the same joyless multitasking you would watching people play in the casino.
We have this with cell phones, I looked back and they were calling it 'digital dementia' Can you get through a conversation with someone in real life without them looking something up on their phone? I can't. We don't need to know everything all the time I say, but they still squirm, immensely uncomfortable with the feeling of not having their immediate impulses gratified.
This is article slop, please don't make me read things that were written by bots, have no authors, feature ai generated images, citing themselves as a source... People would happily Ai-generate anti-ai blog posts and sell them to us all day long if we let them.
This stuff is from press releases, primary sources are not hard to find.
