Criticism of America as usually pretty spot on, but a lot of recent criticism online has devolved to insulting every American individual and has plenty of schadenfreude vibes. It is especially galling since it is easy to imagine that this criticism comes from people or places that would be doing the same thing (or lack thereof) to fight this sort of cryptofascism in their own countries as well. How many of those complaining about the direction America is headed and how little the people are doing to stop it, would be totally disinterested if we were talking about Poland or Finland or Italy? Ultimately, I believe what we are seeing, in many cases, is really just an objection to how much their own country's economics and military are tied to the whims or fortunes of the U.S.
Tomatoes, Okra, Eggplant, Bell Peppers, Olives, and Zucchini are all fruits. Are they gross or otherwise forbidden on pizza?
I see. A vanishingly small capitalist class? From where I am sitting , that "class" isn;t getting smaller, just more desperate as they are running out of ways to extraxt wealth from those who work, so the attempt become more and more egregious and obvious.
His fuck-trash and grand-fuck-trash will reap the rewards. We need to find away to take it all away from them and put them all away for decades. If not prison, then reeducation work camps. We will never get past this unless, ultimately, nobody ends up profitting from either of Trump's farcical administrations.

This. When I lived in housing cooperatives in college 20 years ago we would lie in wait at various places (Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Einstein Bros., Roma Pizza, etc.) and grab ridiculous amounts of good food they would throw away at closing time. We actually got enough perfectly fine food that way that we were able to completely subsizide all of the food costs of the single parents and poor members of our community. I don't think folks can even do this anymore as now places have locked dumpsters or even keep the entire dumpster enclosed in the building itself.

Please. The message I am taking away from his comments is that voting and protesting in and of themselves do nothing. That's not nihilism, that's useful advice. We need mutual aid and harm reduction networks that will allow for communities to have a critical mass of their members be fully supported by everyone else to they can effectively be "ungovernable" and engage in armed resistance, 24/7.
