So am I not affected if I don't stream anything? What about SmartTubeNext will Google just make the streaming even worse for me?

In general when I'm searching for a particular community, I check https://lemmyverse.net/communities.

At quick glance I didn't see an equivalent of ABraThatFits here on Lemmy.

There does seem to be a lingerie community on lemmy.world but reading the community description, it seems more targeted at pictures of women in lingerie instead of advice on the topic.

Maybe, one of the kink communities could be helpful

I recently pulled out my old PSP from way back when. If I don't have any options to buy anything to own, guess there's less incentive to buy anything new. Give me options pls

Yes, I can touch type. I had a computer class in my year of high school where they taught us all how to do it.

One instance should be a penalty.

However, apparently this athlete is known to have done it repeatedly and got caught because the Swedish team prepared their own camera angle. Only one instance may have been caught, but it was caught because he already had a reputation for it.

Not really a good look for us. Would rather our athletes not cheat on an international stage representing our country. Play by the rules or not at all. Thank you very much.

I'd suggest coming and joining the Sim Racing On Linux discord: https://discord.gg/xTvw6RYjA

There's is definitely a process to getting AC modded correctly.

Bought a new gaming PC with an AMD GPU and went straight for Bazzite almost a year ago. It was pretty damn painless and straightforward. Especially the only thing I use it for are singleplayer or indie multiplayer games. Almost everything worked out if the box.

A lot of sim racing stuff worked surprisingly well.

It was a pain to learn how to install Assetto Corsa with its mods, needs a specific version of proton with specific windows libraries installed, but once I figured that all out it runs great.

It was also a pain when I bought a Chinese handbrake for sim racing, but thanks to the Sim Racing On Linux discord, a member wrote a custom driver for it for me and another member that bought it. Unfortunately, I can't exactly install custom kernel drivers on Bazzite, so I ended up switching to CachyOS and have been enjoying that so far. It was a bit of a pain to switch as it requires more tinkering, but I got to a place where it was running nicely fairly quickly.

Yeah I really don't like this. Seems lik a terrible way to do this.

I've disabled updates on it.

I already no longer use it to sync my music (moved to Navidrome with Symfonium). Do I move away for my personal photos & documents?

[–] t0fr@lemmy.ca 3 points 4 months ago

I was not aware of any falling out years ago. Nextcloud and syncthing are definitely for different applications though

I guess I'll pause updates for now. Not sure if I want to learn termux at the moment.
