Steam states in their EULA that your purchase a license to play the game but not own it

While what you say here makes a whole lot of sense please don't mock people who get called conspiracy theorists as many conspiracy theories have been true over many years.

Oh, thanks! I hadn't noticed actually!

Because media propaganda makes it seem as if the majority have certain views. People don't like to be on the outside so if the media can trick people into conforming then they will try that.

Go and do something with it. Rock climbing knots are very useful for outdoor stuff. Start with basic rock climbing (sport) and get into trad style, then you'll learn all types of knots.

Of course we will. Systemd is already integrating it. I'm waiting to see which of these age-less forks will come out on top and then I'll switch

It's a Dell Inspiron 2 in 1. Quite nice actually. All metal, fingerprint reader works, 16:10, and other small things that add up to it being overall an enjoyable laptop

I've used Plasma via Fedora Kinoite and it works great. Flipping the 2in1 screen over disables the keyboard automatically and the touchscreen just works fine. Recently Plasma made nice changes to their on screen keyboard. Also, pressure sensitive pens worked perfectly as long as the note taking program utilized that function.

I can go a few months. I drink one big one a day and leave the cap off overnight until I refill it in the morning. Leaving the cap off really helps keep the mold away

Can Recomops like Ship of Harkinian be installed on OS's like Batocera and RecalBox (particularly the RPi versions)? It has a native Linux port so I'd imagine it could be possible but these OS's are designed for emulation.

Does anyone know of a company (USA market) that makes AK47's with a generally classic appearance but with modern amenities such as optic mounting, rails, still 7.62x39, etc? Oh and ones that aren't thousands of dollars either

What retro consoles still have the most active game development? The most games still being released physically? The best and most popular time-tested consoles?

I'm excited to start learning programming and had a thought to make a game (having an objective makes it easier to learn). I wrote up an entire plan already for the mechanics and it seems incredibly viable for a fun and full experience. I would like to have it playable on real hardware and am just trying to figure out which system to make it for.

I became aware that YouTube is creating inaccurate AI descriptions on seemingly random videos after watching a recent video from Gamers Nexus. Do these descriptions appear if I use NewPipe or even FreeTube?

I just got my second RPi5, put LibreElec on it via microSD, and for some reason the boot menu appears and goes through it's thing first before booting LibreElec. Is there a reason it doesn't boot straight into LibreElec? How can I have it skip the boot menu screen?

Common security practices are to keep a router for as long as it's receiving security patches. Once it's EOL, then replace it.

I have a Gl.iNet router using the latest firmware that just released recently. However, the router is based on OpenWRT and is running v21.02 when the latest OpenWRT official version is 24.10.3. On OpenWRT's website v21.02 is considered EOL.

So should this router be considered EOL? Should the whole company not be worth buying from since everything sold is immediately EOL? I don't understand enough about cyber security to know how significant the jump is from v21.02 to v24.10.3.

PS. I know these routers can be flashed with straight OpenWRT but this is for the sake of my thought experiment.

Is GammaOS, an alternative OS for some popular retro gaming Android devices, deGoogled?

Besides the price sometimes, Google services being preinstalled on these Android devices is the main reason keeping me from wanting to get one. I'd love to be able to emulate GameCube though and I'm hoping GammaOS is the solution.

Is there a hack to apply to Final Fantasy Legend II for GB in English that changes the localization of things like bananas back to opium, etc?

I have historically mapped the keys "wikidata=" and "name=" of restaurants such as McDonalds. According to the OSM wiki name vs brand is the contributor's pick in this instance.

However, I have just learned about "brand:wikidata=". Is there a useful difference to use this key with the keys I normally use or would it be redundant?

What are your favorite Vanilla+ versions of classic N64 games, fan remakes, etc. that preferably can run on original hardware? For example Kaze Emanuar's Return to Yoshi's Island or Smash Remix.

I'm planning to get an Analogue 3D and have my kid grow up playing it along with other emulated systems on a RPi.

I've been fairly successful at getting people to get on Signal of recent. However, I cannot find them in Signal to send a message. I'm on GrapheneOS, have them saved in the default contacts app (not something isolated like Fossify), and I have refreshed the contacts list in Signal. That doesn't work. So I type their number in the "find by phone number" and then all it offers is to "invite to signal".

Does anyone know what the issue is and how to fix it? I'm trying not to lose people from the Signal train but this is a real turn off for normies.
