So is Android not being forced to do this as well?

It will have no effect in the US. This has happened repeatedly since the oil crisis of the 1970s. Every time the gas prices go back down, people run out and buy or lease a gas guzzling automobile again. Then in a few years gas prices go back up, and people freak out again.

Is Missouri blue enough on one side that it could split into two states? Or is St Louis an island of blue surrounded by red?

That took entirely too long.

Shampooing your hair pretty much cleans behind your ears.

Uh, Trump has caused lasting damage to the dollar. Not just this stupid war.

Finishing up “Fast Forward” by Robert Sawyer. It’s not very good. Lots of filler. One of the main characters finds out her young child has died and she just continues to mutter about like nothing has happened. One of the villains gives a long rambling speech about his motivations before shooting someone, like he’s a Bond villain. No one does this in real life.

I hear the TV show based on the book’s premise is much better. One of those rare instances where the tv show or movie is better than the book.

And not a moment too soon. By “compact” does anyone know if the EV3 is smaller than a Bolt EUV?

Frustrated to see a bunch of giant telephone poles going in on 360 for the power lines. Just bury them. Yes, it’s expensive. But it’s more expensive if you end up burning down the green belt because you used telephone poles.

And they just got done digging trenches for fiber optic! You’d think they would have coordinated this.

Ridiculous. Taking this as a warning — no more Belkin products for me.

This seems like a really bad idea. I can barely get down some of the one way streets now, with busses and deliveries stopping, construction, etc. If anything we should be moving back to more one way streets to create room for bus and bike lanes, and more sidewalk traffic.

Not sure how tacky plastic foam shoes fit into Lego’s quest to improve their environmental impact. This press release looks straight out of “The Onion”.

If you get a call or text from NOI, it’s a firm for hire. They are currently surveying Republican voters. So if you really want to give them an earful, don’t select “Democrat” on the first question. Otherwise, they’ll simply tell you they aren’t really interested in your opinion.

“The answer is we don't have a great long term solution for how we’re doing nuclear waste.”

Wrong answer.

“So four months after its release, iOS 26 is only in use by about 16% of iPhone users, while iOS 18 remains over 60%.”
