I am really happy with my digital timers from thermoworks. They are expensive but I think worth it, I use them for me and my kid all the time

For me, it's Xenosaga episode 1 on the PS2. It's performed entirely by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and it's my favorite OST of all times

I mean I guess but that sounds like just defining all toys as trash to me

To some extent I agree, however I do have some examples with staying power:

  • bath toys, like boats and stuff
  • video games props, like pokeballs, Pokédex, ocarina flute, majoras mask prop, wind waker wand

For the latter, it was a father-son project to sand and paint them, so that probably has to do with it. For bath time, it's probably because the selection is more limited in the first place.

I mean, I can imagine CreativeCloudOS becoming a required install eventually in addition to the monthly fee and your firstborn for creative cloud. It may not be super likely but Adobe cutting out Microsoft from its money pipeline doesn't sound impossible

The article is interesting, although I think the bottom line is still the age-old "fuck you, got mine" mentality

He got killed by the secret service during his attempt, I'm not sure they were later able to assess motive and stuff
