Me too! And with a Jonsbo N4. I'm going something like the perfect home media server, with proxmox, mergerfs and snapraid.

Then I'll run any containers locally for things like media serving.

Now I need to start collecting disks, I'm going to start with 8tb ones.

Have fun!

Probably because it is not selfhosted nor is it a web app??

Note, I use fossify calendar, but I still would like a self hosted web app calendar system

This article ignores a lot of reality when it comes to firming renewables, and my paranoia was triggered when they wrote mainstream media.

Shilling out for the fossil fuel lobby.

Sure, it is not going to be easy, or quick (enough), but cost is going to drive out the more expensive forms of generation, which will be coal and gas.

have you tried the "do not ask again' check box? I seem to recall it asking, but i just tried then and it doesn't ask me any more. try again and see if there is the check box so it doesn't come up again.

Surely there is more than that which is an issue?

I have never seen this issues, but see people comment it all the time.

What is the issue? I use it almost exclusively for the majority of my spreadsheet work and I rarely have an issue or are required to adjust.

I haven't had any real issues with opening xlsx files either.

I'm doing my part for Vanuatu.... Not sure if anyone will use it here, but I'm having fun!

Hi, i have been using KDE (now on KDE Neon)for a while as my daily driver and have been wanting to improve the email/calendar situation.

I have seen Merkuro releases and announcements, but no instructions on how to install it!

Please help - how do i use Merkuro!?!? is there a flatpak or repo somewhere.

TIA

I have just started watching it. I like that it is the sort of thing you can watch in the background.

Looking forward to how it goes, I'm about 15 eps in.

I think that is part of the point. This helps to buffer against poor rainfall as it builds up a resovior under the ground. One of the pictures shows how it grows over 3 years, that means it would also shrink slowly over the years.

This will give plants a chance to survive in times of limited rain.

Now, large-scale total rainfall changes are different as they are longer term trends, but this does help with inconsistency.

The article said that they are the major shareholder.

I'm going on a trip tomorrow. Will see if I can get it to work

I do not think that this can be legal, if you have already agreed to terms.

Surely they can just say from now on, thing you have used for a year is not usable unless you promise not to sue us.

Surely that ship has sailed?

Hi all, I am looking for a starter tablet to show tabs, and in the future potentially musical notation.

As a starter into i am looking for ideas on what sort of tablet. Is 10" big enough? and what are some good apps for it?

My preference is Android, but if all else fails, an iPad could work.

cheers

Hi fellow hosters! I really did not know where to ask this question - and i thought you lot are pretty similar to me. If you can think of somewhere else to post this, please let me know!

I am looking for a solution to be able to host my own books (something like calibre i guess), that i can easily push them to a yet-to-be-purchased eReader.

Firstly - What eReader are you using that allows you to add any number of book sources to? i would also like to include my local library subscription, as well as locally hosted and purchased ones.

Secondly - Any hints on hosting a book collection. (Readarr v calibre, etc), where you get books from, removing DRM from eBooks that you buy, that sort of stuff.

thanks!
