It’s because we are three dimensional beings in a multidimensional universe. It would be like a 2D being trying to understand a 3D world. Things would blink in and out seemingly at random.

With default runtime, very true. There are other runtimes that can be used that provide better isolation like gVisor, kata, firecracker, etc.

Trough style toilets are disgusting, if that’s what you were talking about. If my bathroom had multiple toilets with separate enclosed stalls, we would use it simultaneously. Since that’s not how it’s built in my house, no it’s used one at a time. Although if you think about each bathroom as single stall then technically there are multiple stalls in my house and we absolutely use them simultaneously. So not really sure what your point was.

Sports isn’t just about physical. There is ability to operate as a team. I suspect that mixed gender teams will be superior to mono-gender teams. Diverse perspectives, with proper structure to organize and make use of those perspectives and execute well should always rise above a mono-culture.

Fulfilling bodily functions when no harm comes to another should never be criminalized. My house does not practice segregated bathrooms, and when I compete with my household, we are on the same playing field regardless of gender.

This obsession by conservatives of how people present themselves is deep rooted internalized repression and they lash out and cause real lasting harm to others.

I’ve never understood why bathrooms or sports are segregated by gender. Makes absolutely no sense to me and I’ll go to my dying day believing it’s nonsense.

I like the format but need more distinction on the legend. Colors are too similar in their respective shades.

How much does it cost for the ICE Express Lane that bypasses TSA?

Why would it be the death of the distro when you’ll be back here complaining that it’s a nothingburger?

I think they mean that solar is poised for a reduction in cost.

More “feel good” legislation that has no basis in reality. They obviously do not actually intend to enforce this for corporations because it would shut down modern software development and data centers overnight. Imagine spinning up a docker container or a VM with accounts created. Suddenly you’re violating the law because there’s no age attestation. Nor should there be.

If they want this to actually fly, they should be more targeted in their legislation, but that would require they actually know what they’re fucking talking about.

This is obviously targeted at individuals to “protect” them. Great. No thank you.

I got their super soft and squishy gummy bears and they are delicious. Apparently they are rebranded Albanese, they have a tiny ‘A’ on their bellies.

The US’s latest attempt to chill speech online, KOSA-a bill to effectively force everyone to identify themselves to online platforms-is picking up steam and looking like it will pass the Senate.
