Listen, this is going to sound like a loaded inflammatory question and I don’t really know how to fix that over text, but you say you’re in the space and I’m genuinely curious as to your take on this:

Do you think it’s possible to build LLM technology in a way that:

  1. Respects copyright and ip,
  2. Doesn’t fuck up the economy and eat all the ram,
  3. Doesn’t drink all the water and subject people to Datacenter hell, and
  4. is consistently accurate and has enough data to be useful?

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I have a pixel phone being shipped to me now, can’t wait to post one of these too.

Terrible. They are terrible today. The last game pair they put out was an absolute joke in every regard.

I recommend never giving them another penny.

Such a fragile little snowflake.

I’m disappointed that they cited “scheduling conflicts”.

I get it, politics being politics I understand why they wouldn’t want to tell the US president to go fuck himself… but I very much wanted them to tell him to go fuck himself.

I’m not an expert on this, but I have listened to people talk who are and claim that you can pretty clearly link cognitive decline with the introduction of technology effectively everywhere.

I’m sure it’s not as clear as “tech bad” but it does seem like screen time and deferring the manual parts of learning to computers is not great for us.

Are any original Gwar members still there?

I get what you’re saying, but this isn’t a dig at Gen Z. For as long as we’ve been testing, which is like 50 years I think, the new generation has outperformed the previous one and that’s a good thing.

Having this generation underperform means that we have failed them and we need to figure out exactly how we fucked up. The evidence is really strong that technology in the classroom is a significant contributor.

Yeah, Shirow was basically a porn artist across his collected works. I feel like this new art channels the original manga pretty well.
