Ok, don't assume I'm a Seppo. I vote often, and in local, state, and federal elections. I don't believe my vote is the be all and end all. I go to protests, I participate in my union and have used safety law to force my workplace into protecting its workers.
And you know what? The alt right continues to grow. This problem is bigger than a single vote every 4 years and the Americans are finding out far too late the damage caused by Reagan and Bush. The time to act was 20 to 40 years ago, it's been far too late for decades and only now you blame voter apathy instead of how horrible the Dems are and how fundamentally broken the American system is. J6 should have been the wake up that votes no longer mattered and that direct action is required.

I think the biggest threat to communism is authoritarianism. Who here knows the Vietnamese system well? Do they have robust checks and balances to reign in bad folk seeking power? I need to do some reading.

Few things are more important than Exploration. In all avenues exploration leads to discovery which leads to growth. What else should we be working on? Cos atm the western world (which I inhabit) focuses most human effort on making 'line go up' and it feels entirely wasted and pointless.
