I already gave up. Don't get me wrong GrapheneOS is great but it's getting harder and harder to keep working around security measures employed by my banking and government apps. Plus when my Pixel's screen broke and the price to fix it was the price of a new one I just said fuck it and went back to Samsung.

Tbh nothing comes even close to Gboard for me. The layout, the autocorrect, the simplicity, the swipe typing. Everything is perfect.
I have one in my wallet and one on my keychain.
I watch Friends when I just want to laugh. When I want more serious stuff I watch HIMYM. God I love those shows.
I think it's just fine now. It's gotten a lot better since it first came out.
Haiya literally just finished studying for a statistics final so I went on Lemmy and the first post I see is more statistics =). Haha, anyway, great work!

This is your nostalgia talking. CRTs were absolutely awful. I think my family still had one of lying around in the mid aughts. It was heavy, ugly, big, with truly awful picture quality and sucks down on power. Even the cheap LCD TVs we upgraded to were so much better than that crap.
The best option would be a Pixel running GrapheneOS. If you don't want a Pixel, a well supported device with DivestOS (look for a recent one with a relockable bootloader) would be your best option. Debloating a stock OS isn't recommended since those apps will come back anyway should the system update. Leaving your bootloader unlocked and rooting your phone as well is detrimental to Android security. Please don't do that. See a third party OS comparison Also see:
