Porn & SW make much more sense to me than streamers and influencers.

The safest computer is one that stays in the box. But that is not what computers are for.

My mother developed an allergy to Roundup that she thought was celiac until she discovered that organic bread didn't bother her at all.

Fun Fact - Your body cannot sense when air doesn't contain enough oxygen to keep you alive. However it can sense when there is too much CO2 and causes you to panic.

If they help bring reality into the conversation that's fine by me.

I never said or implied that a single human would work 24/7. That IS stupid.

Large corporations see roles and not individual people. There needs to be [guard] in [location] which costs 150k.

If you think a security guard is paid $72 an hour I'm going to come work for you.

Easy. Data centers need security 24/7.

(150k/52 weeks in a year) = 2884.62 a week

(2884.62/ 168 hours per week) = $17.17 an hour.

hello. This feels like a stupid question and I'm sorry that I have to ask it but searching has been fruitless.

I've put a used amd 5700xt in my tower. The machine boots and sees the card and lists it in system settings. When I unplug the hdmi from the integrated graphics and plug it into the card it nothing displays on the monitor. Its as if the card is turned off.

If I boot the machine with hdmi in the graphics card from power up the screen stays black. Removing the cable and plugging into the integrated port brings up the display on the monitor as expected

Before I rip it out and troubleshoot further, I wanted to ask if there was a setting some where that I need to change to tell the machine to start using the new card?

Hi. I'm looking for a tool to run a small community. I'm hoping this crowd has seen something similar and can make recommendations. Here is the use case.

I'm part of a group of less than 50 people that teach an activity. I need to coordinate instructors support staff and location availability. As well as communicate and store files for instruction

  • Id like a shared calendar that everyone can see and manage events. Each entry needs to have a spot to say where the event is taking place as well as time, date and a notes field to put student names.
  • Id like a chat feature where requests to the group can be seen and responded to. (Hey, can anyone teach a class on this day?)
  • id like a place to store documents and training materials. Ppts, maps and class standards

Thats kinda it. We are currently using an app called "Band" which is ok but I wanted to know if anyone else knew of something open source that doesn't rely on Google or fb.Thanks!

The panic begging texts have spiked this week.

Yes, it is called cooking. Was I stoned at the time? No comment.

fr though. Where does Applebee's get their potato skins?

I want to get some experience with Linux before win 10 goes end of support. I won't be using this machine for work. Gaming primarily but also 3d printing and possibly some light piracy. Is there any reason not to install steam os?

Thanks in advance kind and wise nerds in my phone.
