I used to do that in college. Would bike from school to work or take the bus when weather was bad or I was being lazy.

Unfortunately now I live in the suburbs away from any bus transit. :(

It sure is. But we were talking about how regular people are currently affected by rising gas prices. Getting a used EV would be a helpful way to mitigate its effect on you.

This is what I do. Work insists we all use the same Win 11 build because IT doesn't want to manage anything else. So I built a VM, maxed out the specs and just kept that VM in full screen. I pretty much forget Windows is behind it.

I like gnome too. Its simple and works. The only extension I use is a weather widget. People who need a million extensions are going against the grain of the design.
