Always liked Lew Zealand (and his boomerang fish act). Not necessarily “favorite,” but few remember him…

Saturday is the opening of a weekly outdoor market nearby. Our Maine Coons went with us most weekends last year and became “local celebrities.” This year we’ll pile them in the stroller again, along with the third who joined us in November, and they’ll be off to meet their adoring public. Does me good to see how much joy they bring to people.
Obligatory Cat Tax, in the form of our Nimbus:

Of course. Makes the food taste better.
(I do that with the table marker things at Chick-Fil-A too…)
Good heavens, she’s absolutely adorable. I have a soft spot for dilute torties and calicos…
That’s a foster fail waiting to happen if ever I saw one.
Obligatory cat tax: Here’s our lovely Heather, courtesy of the Cat Distribution System.

That looks lovely. I’d need to substitute a plain sausage as I’ve an aversion to fennel, but I doubt that’s substantial harm done…

Yum yum Bumble Bee, Bumble Bee Luna
I love Bumble Bee, Bumble Bee Luna
Yum yum Bumble Bee, Bumble Bee Luna
I love to snuggle Luna Bumble Bee!
See Mephiskapheles’ “Bumble Bee Tuna Song” - ‘cause she’s my Luna fish.
Exactly. That’s why they are so very effective.
The trap is set…
When police asked about Don Vito’s “business interests,” the suspect’s only response was “who?”
They’re Maine Coon Cats, in what we’ve learnt is a rather rare color - “blue silver shaded”. Luna is already fourteen pounds…

Our little man Nimbus (3 mo.) came home on Monday, and Luna (almost 13 mo.) seems to have jumped well into the “big sister” role. (Same parents, different year, or as I like to say “kitter from another litter”.)
Our dear little lady Luna is two years old on Saturday.
(My initial name suggestions were “Juno” and “Omaha” as she was born on the eightieth anniversary of the Normandy landings - I knew men who were there. Luna was the third option I offered, and it’s the name that stuck.)
