@RareBird15 @mastoblind @main

Maybe #jabberEl with #emacspeak?

Heard good things about #Emacs by a #blind user in a local makerspace.

@poVoq

Wo is behind this? Is rallep71 <huepferralf@gmail.com> trustworthy or at least known in the #Dino community?
After the XZ incident, I'm more paran^Wcareful than before. Esp. if software is advertised as "most secure".

Anyway, if #DinoX does support #OX and #stickers, I'm already fan 🙂

#Jabber

@arsus5478

#Conversations_im — and those in your circle who don't mind using their phone number, they can use #Quicksy, which is slightly easier to onboard. Both are compatible, however, because they follow a standard protocol, called #XMPP, previously #Jabber. I.e. a Conversations user can talk to a Quicksy use. Jabber is the #fediverse of chat 🙂

@poVoq

One remark: I suggest to replace port 5223 with 443. It improves reachability in badly configured public wifis, such as some British trains.

@carloshr @tecnologia
