Vorab ich finde die Situation natürlich traurig und wünsche dem gestrandeten Wal selbstverständlich ein positives Ende.

Ich finde, dass der zu oft berichtet wird und finde es übertrieben, dass es sogar Livestreams und Liveticker gibt.

Einerseits finde ich es schon gut, dass Mitmenschen über das Wohl eines Tieres Gedanken machen und vielleicht in Zukunft etwas mehr für die Wale tun, indem sie weniger Fisch konsumieren, damit weniger Geisternetze von den Fischerboote rumschwirren, oder dass die Leute Geld in Tierschutzprojekte spenden, oder Petitionen unterzeichnen usw..

Gleichzeitig passiert tagtäglich dauernd vermeidbaren Tierleid. Massentierhaltung, Qualzucht bei Haustieren, Zoos. Details erspare ich mal an der Stelle.

Das kommt in den Medien und Sozialen Medien weniger, obwohl das in meinen Augen auch Aufmerksamkeit verdient hätte.

Bei welchen Organisationen, Vereinen, Veranstaltungen würde ein Ehrenamt lohnen? Welche sollte man meiden?

I used to comment frequently on a very niche hobby subreddit with fewer than 2 000 subscribers. After the Reddit API changes and the rise of AI-generated posts, I got sick of reddit and deleted my account.

Before deleting my account I made sure to obfuscate all my valuable contributions (for example as long term reviews of products and detailed analyses with pros and cons) so that if reddit somehow managed to restore them, they would be of no use. I thought this should have done the job, but it wasn't.

Today I decided to google my old reddit username. Found some comments because other users had mentioned/pinged me in their comments. I don't mind that. I couldn’t find any of my posts or comments on reddit and was happy.

As I scrolled through the Google search results, I stumbled upon a blog I had never heard of before. My Reddit username appeared in the search result preview which got my interest.

Could it be that another user that coincidentally chose the same username? I wanted to see what this other person had written.

I opened the blog post which discussed a product related to that niche hobby. Of course the post was infested with Amazon affiliate links everywhere. I continued scrolling to the comment section to see what "I" had written.

To my shock, it was the exact review I had posted on Reddit before editing and deleting my stuff.

The blog owner had copied my original reddit post and used my reddit username as the blog comment username. I felt upset because I hadn’t given anyone permission to reuse my posts elsewhere.

I don't want to name the blog, hobby and reddit username so that blog don't get more undeserved views.

In the app there is a button "Random Community" which leads to random Community.

I like the initial idea that you can explore random communities but sometimes it suggests you a community from an instance that is no longer inactive.

So i wish that the random community isn't totally random but also do a check if that community instance still exists.

So i want to draw comics.

Where do i start? What are useful ressorcues to learn? What apps should i use? Are there special comic drawing apps or is any drawing app sufficient enough?

I have already an android tablet with a pen. I can also buy those graphic tablets for pc but my budget would be tight.

My phone got some splash water. Unfortunately some water drops landed in the usb charging port. The phone gave me the error message that it detected moisture and i should dry it.

At some point the phone died because of low battery. I did not have charged it yet because of the concernings that the water and charging could damage the phone.

UPDATE: i used paper towels and let it dry overnight. I charged and there was no warnings.
