My old man loves Steely Dan. Great memories of bopping along to their music with him as kid. Always had to listen to one of their albums minimum every road trip. Everyone call your Dad!!

Expensive is subjective. I think paying for any bottled water, especially the 'designer' brands like these (for lack of a better term) is a scam. Just get a water filter for home or drink from the tap and enjoy that sweet sweet fluoride.

Damn, I never said you shouldn't like the show, or that it's objectively bad. I just expressed my preference for the direction of future trek projects, in what I thought was a relevant thread.

You know it's okay to enjoy something without making it your entire personality right? Leave your unfounded generalisations in the trash where they belong.

I don't know, Im not a fan of the Kurtzman-era Trek. I'd prefer it if they'd create a series that's closer in tone to the earlier stuff.

Who even wants this?

Starfleet academy looks like hot garbage to me. Am I mistaken?

AI upscaled ruin details on the aliens. Bajoran noses, Klingon foreheads, Trill spots all get blurred out rather than enhanced. Kills it for me

I'm trying to move away from buying so many things online instead of supporting local. What are some local businesses you folks suggest? Where have you had a great customer experience in the HRM?

Restaurants suggestions and that sort of thing are welcome as well, but I'm mostly interested in finding local alternatives to online stores like Amazon and big chain stores like Walmart.

Foggy but kind of pretty too?
