Follow me as I revisit a video game I previously misunderstood, Atelier Ayesha! Will I find the truth about what this game actually wanted to do? Will I finally enjoy it, despite its quirkiness? Or... did I replay this to no avail? Only one way to know...

Personally, that was a bit I enjoyed, but it's also true that I played the updated version, so maybe that was part of it.

Sorry for the double submission, must have been a bug.

I had previously stopped playing this game as, simply put, my level of English wasn't high enough to understand the story and the language, but now that I've resumed playing this game and gotten past A Realm Reborn... I'm having so much fun ✨

So yeah, here you find my adventures as well as my analysis of Heavensward and why A Realm Reborn wasn't as amazing as it could have been.

Also, please, no spoilers in comments, I'm still playing the lv 60 quests in Heavensward!

I'll definitely give Winboat a try, since I need to get MP3tag and Clip Studio Paint working at some point. I'll also install Cooler Control, just in case. Thank you so much for the help!

Thank you! I ended up adding more fans after the build was done, so I think I fixed whatever issues I was having. I'll definitely try those two programs tho, as Wine still refuses to work...

Thank you! EndeavourOS seems very friendly in general, and I'm really enjoying it so far. It also seems to lack the usual dose of Arch elitists, which is even better.

yay is already a shortcut for that, but thanks

I agree! I'm enjoying it so far, both on this and my other devices.

It’s time to finally build the ticket to my well-deserved freedom from Windows! Join me as I desperately try to make this new Linux PC work, and who knows, it might even end up amazing!

Thank you! I'll definitely have a look at those, perhaps they'll give me some inspiration for my new Endeavour OS installation.

I'll definitely keep on writing this, as I'd like to hopefully reach Windows Vista (and its fascinating beta, Longhorn), and maybe even 8, we'll see. It will take a while, but I'll get there!

Thank you! You're right, I'm too young to have been there at the time, but I'm deeply fascinated by these things, and would like to share them with a new audience as well! It's always amazing to read comments written by people who were there at the time, and see new perspectives!

I managed to obtain an SGI Indy, but I haven't done much with it yet, I'll have to research it a bit more. As for Enlightenment, that will be for a future Episode about the rest of X Window System, there were simply too many to include in this one.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much! EmeraldDM8, the one who built the UI, thanks you a lot as well.

What if you used a late 80s Unix system for your job or university, but still wanted a nice and pretty GUI to use? Well then, let’s discover a nice selection of window managers and graphical user interfaces that will make your boring installation look awesome!

It depends on how much detail you want to understand. You can play Steins;Gate and Robotics;Notes on their own, but they are best understood after playing Chaos;Head (personally, I played C;H after them). Chaos;Child necessarily follows Chaos;Head. For Occultic;Nine, you can read it with no prior knowledge, as far as I've seen. For Anonymous;Code, you need Steins;Gate at the bare minimum, and at least a decent summary of Chaos;Head's themes. Anything more is just added references that you'll be able to get.

Don't feel threatened and jump in!
