No he isn’t. Horse racing needs to be consigned to history.

OK, a lot of people will have to find other jobs. And a lot of people will have to find something else to bet on. Tough. It will happen. But it’ll take time.

Maybe not while they are but we do need a Plan B. And that means off of Earth.

It’s so sad we’ve wasted so much time, lives and money on pointless wars and strife, the majority of it driven by religion (as per the current situation) as we could be living in a garden and with outposts on the planets and extra solar missions on the go by now.

For me this was automatic. I saw a message saying that because of my email address and account, they could see I must be over 18 so there was nothing for me to do.

No excuses. He knows the rules and policies. Sack him. Ban him from ANY public office in the future. It’s arrogant twats like this that play straight to Tory hands.

What a total arsehole.

Too many see traffic lights and speed limits as something for other people as well.

It’s be much better, for a start it’s 40 odd years more advanced.

Our system was constantly having its requirements changed. One of those things that just made money for the company but of little use. Hence the 2 man lift disk drive that you couldn’t use if vehicle moving. It was always hobbled and never used to full potential. Nothing new there then.

Wasn’t the UK’s BATES system supposed to do that back in the 90s?

There were so many changes to it though before it even came into service.

I don’t think it ever worked like it should have done and then was replaced by something else smaller and more modern as well as a lot cheaper.

The 40mb disk drive unit was a 2 man lift and had to be shut down before moving the vehicle it was in. That was really handy for artillery that was supposedly mobile.

I would have thought that phones and social media were more responsible. AI is relatively new to the scene.

We don’t allow them where I work at a Driving Test Centre in UK. Which is awkward, as you can now have these glasses with prescription lenses. Candidates can either test without them, or don’t test and lose your test fee. We’ve had a couple of people refused a test and they weren’t happy. Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

Didn’t expect anything less for this disgusting reptile.

Poor ol’ Nige. No invite to the coronation, and now Trump stands him up on a date.

When is he going to realise his orange god does not care about anyone but himself.

Does anyone have experience of this, and more importantly, is it any good?

Thanks

From the same article:

'The UK could see a return of 30C heat just in time for the coming bank holiday Monday - as what is expected to be among the hottest summers on record continues.

And

Weather over the weekend will be largely dry and cloudy, with temperatures expected to peak at 24C on Sunday.'

Make your sodding mind up!

Oh dear (www.bbc.co.uk)

Making America great again?

Just highlights the point that these people get paid in a month what one of the overentitled twats will pay for a pair of jeans or a TACO golf shirt.

So yesterday I rescued a young Robin that caught its leg in our garden feeder. All OK.

Yesterday evening I went to the kitchen to start dinner and there was a sparrow flapping about by the kitchen window. The kitchen door next to window was wide open, but our cat Daisy was prowling round so that probably stopped the sparrow from flying out. Managed to get hold of it and it too was uninjured. Off that went as well.

Don’t think Daisy had caught it as she is too slow. So much that that she either ignores the birds (apart from making funny noises at pigeons and magpies), or they stay out of her reach.

Wonder what animal rescue I have today.

Very thought provoking.

My daughter is visiting and left her case open.

My daughter is studying Creative Writing and English Literature at Birmingham (UK) University. She's put together some pieces on Substack. Most of them are over my head, but this one hits right in the feels. Apart from a couple of technical inaccuracies, it's spot on. Hope you like it ;-)
