Weird that you need me to provide solutions to you.

I don't know whether this is some weird purity test or if you're just looking to copy my homework and either way I don't care.

You're not a good person. You're actively creating a hostile environment for the purposes of trolling at this point.

Go away.

Lol. My dude. Quit projecting. You don't know me. You don't know anything about what I do and don't do. You made an assumption based on misplaced vibes and now you're doubling down.

Which is hilarious because that kind of vibe based nonsense is exactly what I'm sure you would accuse your political opposites of doing.

Do me a favor and get lost. I'm not interested in whatever nonsense you're spewing since you're not here to provide solutions.

Make credible suggesting or GTFO.

I didn't ask.

But since you're wanting to give people directions, maybe start off with that in a place and time where it's appropriate. Instead of assuming that someone who doesn't owe you this information must not know and must be talked down to.

You come off as an asshole. Just thought you ought to know.

It costs you nothing to make suggestions about what people can do.

Instead you're here to smugly try to gotcha randos on the internet for your own self righteous hate fetish. You can miss me with that entirely.

Yeah. The thing about new phone numbers these days is they are generally reused numbers someone else didn't want. So you'll still get the same spam calls, they just won't necessarily be addressed to you.

I take it you have a list of things we could be doing that you'd like to share with the class?

Are you asking for tips?

I don't think that's the point they are making. What they are saying is this type of crime is becoming more successful with the help of AI, not that the perpetrator couldn't have done it without AI.

Same as with phone scams. They are becoming more successful all the time with the help of AI because of its ability to emulate human conversation, voice match, etc.

Nebula. It's got a paid sub though.

There's also Peertube. I think both are worth checking out.

The one little tooth gets me every single time.

I don't think highlighting that criminals are using AI to make their crimes more effective is "using it as AI hate".

Parents (and the general public) do need to understand the dangers of new technology regardless of whether you like it or don't.

I don't want to buy anything with his face on it because I'm tired of seeing him everywhere. But thanks for the heads up.

I have been able to see online that the problem I am having is a known one where the Firefox flatpak needs version 23.06 ffmpeg-full as a dependency.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this working and as a result Firefox audio stutters significantly on every website no matter what settings I change or what extensions I turn on and off.

I at first assumed this was a problem with my extensions and went through a pretty hefty troubleshooting session that got me pretty much nowhere.

I have attempted to install the proper codecs via the terminal and the system says those codecs are already installed.

I'm at a loss here. If anyone knows an answer or at least an avenue to help me get this solved, I'm all ears.

"According to the research published by Hackmosphere, the technique works by avoiding the conventional execution path where applications call Windows API functions through libraries like kernel32.dll, which then forwards requests to ntdll.dll before making the actual system call to the kernel."

"The uBlock Origin Lite add-on was also accused of collecting user data and running afoul of privacy concerns, which is one of the big reasons why people switch over to the Firefox browser in the first place. Hill [the developer] responded: “It takes only a few seconds for anyone who has even basic understanding of JavaScript to see the raised issues make no sense.”"

Instead of blocking them, this extension speeds them up to x16 and also mutes the ad. Experiencing a 30 second ad in 2 seconds is pretty funny. And it works on Edge and Chrome.
