And now a lot of the same shit is documented on video a couple of clicks away from where this boomer consumes content. I gave up on seeking morbid shit like an edgy teen a long time ago, but just regular news feed on telegram, reddit and the likes frequently brings up NSFW content. It's still spring but I remember at least a couple of clips this year of kids playing stupud games to their end I saw on the surface-level internets.

Military grade bazookers. He probably had fun with these but it's not as interesting as his wife's doings tho. I'd rather prefer to look at men with balloon tits the size of their head than to know it's somehow tied to shitty policies harming lots of people.

The tension between these two was something else entirely 🙄

The "Me and who?" meme writes itself, especially if you have a low self-esteem to be compared to a cybertruck - a car wholly unprepared to, like, exist.

The link in the OP didn't work for me, here is an alternative: https://atlantablackstar.com/2026/03/23/utterly-disgraceful-trump-insider-accused-of-using-his-power-to-get-his-ex-arrested-then-melania-link-and-epstein-connection-add-a-dark-twist/

The technically-not-a-pedophile who first met his wife at 18 when he was 33 (she was brought up aged 17 on Eipstein plane, met Melania on it at 18), now used his contact with a senior ICE agent to bag her after being in the US on visa since 2002 (expired in 2019). It's hard to be more POS than that.

To be fair, they edited in the Microslop logo and also the Firefox icon, making a crying fox look like a narcissist hugging it's own image, that is not completely out of blue with their recent shitty decisions

XnView MP - cross-platform image viewer and organizer that I love for it batch convert tool. Besides many work tasks that required simple leveling or watermarking automation, I used it to make my couple of underpowered and lowres e-ink books show me manga in the best possible way. I chained up grayscale, rotation to portrait if landscape, posterisation, cutting white borders and resizing the result to the book's screen, the entire Gutz or Berserk or Uzumaki processed in one go and saved to another folder keeping the structure intact. This way I sprinted through so many works I probably outdid my real wage in the month I started, calculating the price of each tome in Eastern Europe.

TotalCMD - Win darling that I rarely ever use now, but it's the first thing I think of (and miss on Linux) when I need batch renaming of files. Find&replace, adding counting numbers, using regular expressions (while looking them up each time, lol). It says a lot when I come to task and think of it in a logic that this exact tool allowed me to use.

AIMP - surprise-surprise, another batch editing tool that primarily a music player, and also Win only. It is the slickest way I found to mass convert files to other formar via a context menu item, and it also provides a tool to mass edit metadata of music files, with a pretty flexible data rearranging patterns, e.g. I could fill a blank metadata table sourcing from it's name deftones_-_shove-it.mp3 and other kinds of manipulation.

I just really like that some programs provide nice GUIs for reliable automatisation of repetitive tasks, that you don't need to write macros over programs instead. The closest I felt like that from a corporate software is MS Office Word's Find&Replace in older editions, where you could use regexp, target specific styles and tags, etc, but it still felt too limiting and dumbed down, so for some context aware replacement tasks I wrote macros and was scaredly considering going to either edit their lunatic XMLs on the code level or learning the hell of VBA scripting if I'd have time and zero self-respect. The two only persons I know who wrote some VBAs in my circle actively encouraged me not to 🤪

I was going to say whoever promises him ONE MILLION DOLLARS, but I guess there is a sporadically formed organism of loyal gatekeepers, privileged abusers and so on, that limits it to a tiny circle and makes it go somehow predictably to further interests of higher bidders.

It's a fitting gotcha comparison commenters everywhere wrote since he took office again, but GOD FUCKING DAMMIT this senile piece of shit is only relevant as a POTUS and everyone's henchman, making him look like a biblical character for good or for bad is giving him too much credit, uphelding the cult of personality the least educated and religiously minded individuals seek to believe in. This sensational exceptionism is not doing anything useful. Fucker Carlson continues to mow down every wrinkle on the brains of his target audience, but today he drives right to left instead of the usual opposite.

  1. It has it's DRM implementation, that, albeit weak and useless, was designed to manage what you can or cannot plug these cords into, e.g. capture cards. That's probably an advantage for Sony and others.
  2. HDMI specs are <10m or bust, so for big rooms or video prod on HDMI you need amplifiers. They may be included in the cord itself, but that makes it one-directional, lol.
  3. Not to say that HDMI cords are expensive and you also can't press their ends to the lenght needed yourself, unlike what you can do with SDI cords.
  4. No mechanisms preventing them against just popping out from the socket. Anecdotally, I think there's something weird with their construction maybe, that in my experience made metal connectors suddenly come off completely around 5 times this year, while no other connectors suffered that faith, even dumb VGA that are prone to have their pins wrecked.
  5. HDMI is rigidly limited to what it can with what standard and has no interesting things going for it imho, at least no daisy chaining multiple displays one after another that DP can.

Yup.

https://www.phoronix.com/news/Wine-11.6-Released

Wine for Android hasn't seen too much work in recent time. Back in 2024 was talk of Wine on Android with DXVK/VKD3D-Proton plus FEX for running Windows games on Android but not too much on that "Cassia" effort since. Going back over a decade were original efforts to get Wine on Android and running Solitaire as an example.

The answer is: It's basic, Windows/Android-looking, and it's not Ubuntu with snap and shit

And for me it was right. I left it after some time with it, when it served as a comfortable middleground for a Windows escapee. I needed it to feel security in my pretty extreme choice, not to bounce back in the first weeks. Only then I felt like I'm staying there and can explore different things and actually know what I'm looking for.

At first, Mint gave a relief in having a simple visual software manager (~app store) that had both regular versions and flatpacks, where I first encountered the critical difference between the ways you can install the same app and underlying mechanics of dependancies etc. Then I got to know app images, that are less android-like and more windows-like in a sense you download executable files and fire them up. Having some problems and needs I started to google around, saw frequent mentions of archwiki, AUR, pacman, etc, and it just went on.

But for a little while I feared it'd be a neverending challenge, it was comforting to know, that it would just work on the basic level, for browsing, surfing web, playing games. And that I can then pick my challenges to serve my needs. Like a safe zone where most MMOs put their newbie players at first to learn the basics.

Do you use some GUI, TUI, terminal commands, plugins for other software?

Ideally, I want to find a cross-platform GUI app, preferably a FOSS one, and with as less overhead as possible, e.g. no Electron.

Feel free to take that name

I don't have any idea behind that, I'm just criminally bored atm.

I was thinking if can learn a sign language, preferably the one not completely localized, but what I got is a total confusion. There are different SLs for China, India, US, Russia and other countries, all seem incompatible between each other. Is there one to pick if I want to be compatible with EU people, but also as much others as possible?

The name is CyricZ, and he is the reason the west can get platinum in this series. Over the years, he wrote the best guides on gamefaqs one can ask for. His appearance on reddit has been seen as a second coming of Christ lol.

Back to the problem, a lot of controversies followed the recent announcements, and besides dumb rereleases and unlisting of "legacy" remasters, CyricZ is very unhappy that remaster of Yakuza 3 with added campaign includes a known harrasser and sexual assaulter Teruyuki Kagawa as the voice and the face of the antagonist.

Although that remaster means fixing known issues with fighting gameplay, and also adding a lot new things, I myself respect and join people who wouldn't want to support that.

I dragged the descritption handle up, then pressed download, and after a while it crashed. It couldn't report images's dimensions or type.

Besides obvious traps in differing levels of quality of LLM's and resources, being availiable to commoners for cheap or free and paid for corporate rich clients, there's still an undiscovered question about how these different AIs are biased.

After reading a lenghty thread where I've seen many takes about if LLM could've pushed a teen into commiting suicide, I thought to myself: if there are obviously different models availiable, may they be taught differently for each userbase?

May, for example, some genAI for rich and poor differ, helping first ones to procreate and others to die off?

What if some data engineers trained a popular model to represent one specific agenda, to serve their favorite bosses and institutions?

What if, for the argument's sake, their GenAIs serve this role as an enabler of suicide, as it was intentionally programmed for?

It has a long story and a lot of better explanations, but in short

  1. Some character has a problem;
  2. They find a short-term solution;
  3. It later becames unsufficient, and then a problem for them and others.

It is readable if I hold it.

After playing some Tux, hot shower water gave me a vision. Imagine, there is a sport carting league for CEOs and billionaires, that is inherently wasteful like golf, but is universally accepted as a breathing period for all world's populace from their shenanigans. Any moment they cart, they don't cut or monopolize essential things. And being like a real sport, it prevents them from casually walking around and networking, like golf is used by most.

The core of this theme is a team of CEO and their secretary over the phone. Their interactions is what gives characters personality, gives some comedic commentary on how they are unhinged.

For example, one of the CEO characters, when wins, opens a bottle of champaigne when they win and uncontrollably bump into the wall the next moment. Secretary then reminds them, once again, that drinking and driving is not recommended. On track, they are always sniffing and complain about how coke makes them sneeze, and how, after being stopped, they could've run faster than cart if not for cardiologist's advice.

Another have pointless metrics shown in the garage, and choosing different hats, cars doesn't affect performance but makes them less over the top annoying in their reactions to the environment. Losing or bumping into the wall causes them to put blame on having less SPEED or ACCELERATION than others, and it should be corrected not by the next quarter, NOW. Their secretary nods, saying they would look into it. If they loose, they fire a random department at their company.

All extra abilities make them play their bit. Like putting oil on the road causes saudi oil baron to flex, and others to calculate waste they could use other way, like powering their crypto servers. The metrics guy complains, why the fuck his car leaks, and their secretary patiently explains that's how they win.

Another ghoul's topic is immortality by blood transfusion and essential oils. Losing makes them remark, that they'd outlive others in the long run. Bumping makes them order another body part replacement from a black market.

In story mode, each chapter generously extrapolate time that took you to complete it to real life, and then calculate how much suffering and waste didn't happen. Playing a Melon Husk, you'd see how many CO² wasn't emitted by his personal plane while he was kartmaxxing.

The tracks themselves are historically or otherwise significant sites that get joyfully destructed over the course of the race to show their recklessness and what sacrifice their prolonged existence implies.
