The 24h wait period is a part of the so-called "advanced flow" which will become the only way to install apps not verified by google once their new rules go into effect, as described here: https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2026/03/android-developer-verification.html

I have been playing Time Snatcher Handy recently, a roguelike centered around a time-stop mechanic, which only uses 44 MB. It is pretty good. Going through my steam library from the lowest up, here are the others i would recommend, stopping at one GB, because most of my games are under 20 GB and i tend to be relatively selective with what games i get so i consider most of them good also:

  • TIS-100 (80 MB), programming puzzle game by Zachtronics
  • Islanders (150 MB), minimalist city builder
  • Enter the Gungeon (346 MB), bullet-hell roguelike
  • Streets of Rogue (417 MB), roguelike which emphasizes having multiple possible approaches for how to get any given objective
  • Opus Magnum (493 MB), another Zachtronics programming puzzle game
  • Vault of the Void (554 MB), roguelike deckbuilder (one of my most played games, especially recommended)
  • Backpack Hero (616 MB), roguelike focused on maximizing adjacency bonuses on your inventory grid
  • Urbek City Builder (685 MB), city builder (obviously)
  • Slipways (735 MB), a game about optimizing trade routes between planets
  • Cassette Beasts (1 GB), similar to Pokemon, with the main differences being that you turn into the monsters instead of summoning them, type advantage/disadvantage giving unique status effects rather than just changing damage and battles generally being 2v2 instead of 1v1

You can edit posts, adding tags like that is done to provide commentary on the post that doesn't get attached to further reblogs (unless someone copies it into their own reblog addition like in the screenshot here)

It is not quite a native binary, but the effect of not having to install java to run it is the same. Using jlink you can assemble a runtime image containing the java bytecode for the application and a custom runtime enviroment containing the parts of the the jre needed to run that program.

The UPS tracking API has a similar issue, when it doesn't find a tracking number it returns 200 and an API response with the not found error inside. The documentation even states that the API does return 404 in that case. A github issue about that mismatch is open for over a year already: https://github.com/UPS-API/api-documentation/issues/166

I always used offline reader because the feeds i subscribed to don't have that many updates (most of them are currently webcomics updating 1-3 times a week) so i generally just check on it a few times a day and none of it is really urgent, so there is not really much point in expanding the time where i could check on it. Another factor might also be that i started using RSS with Firefoxes inbuilt reader (which they removed back in 2018) which didn't sync across devices, so i was just used to it being like that.

Should be possible. Whatsapps requirements for Stickers are that they must be 512 x 512 pixels and at most 100 kB, i don't have the exact pack but i do have one from the same artist and all from that one do fit those requirements. Even if not resizing them for that is possible.

They probably meant "anchor point". Maybe they also speak german (Anker is german for anchor) and confused the spellings between the languages.

Here is the source: https://www.tumblr.com/ask-crow-aus/759912849861754880/slytherin-assassin-lattemonstr-aishishiii . It is one reblog further down, as slytherin-assassin deactivated their blog and lattemonstr apparently has no post on their blog, probably deleted when they moved on to a different blog.
