As you are asking this in a privacy community I would say Graphen. But as you want to keep gmaps you might also want the comfort you get with e/os when also using their cloud. Personally I would recomend a used pixel 8 with e/os and to try mapy.cz to replace gmaps. About going back to stock OS if you choose a pixel flashing images is stupid easy :) so no worrys there.

Switched from audible to libro.fm and Thalia.de . Yes libro is still US but you can select a local book shop that gets a share of your subscription. The crazy part is, in both cases you actually download mp3 or even m4b files that you can save on YOUR system.

Thank you for mentioning mapy.com .Yes its not FOSS but it is the only non big tech map that I know of that has traffic and even location ratings. The later beging the thing I miss the most when using other FOSS apps.

Banking worked once I added a Google account to microg. Which is not the best I know, but thats a compromise for now. With e/os and others you also habe to keep in mind that not all images allow you to lock your bootloader.
