How do you figure it's a data harvesting site? It's actually suggested a model that works pretty well for me.

I want just that third panel without the text as an image. That's sick. I'd use it as a background or something.

I have a few devices I've connected via Tuya Local. The key seems to change upon removing/re-adding to an account. Definitely not burnt-in like a MAC address.

In the past I've just re-installed the Tuya app when I've added a new device, but I also have concerns about Tuya disabling local control in future so I'm trying to avoid Tuya stuff and run esphome instead where possible.

I can't speak to their training processes, but I went through a room full of tear gas during my Navy CBRN training and it was not particularly pleasant but quite survivable. I'm not sure such mild conditions are quite what's needed in the case of ICE agents.

It'll be a 96% reduction in heat. Basically all the power consumed by computers is converted to heat. Some small amounts are converted to light and sound, but they're a rounding error.

Same! I made a MacroHard company that sold computer mice for a high school project.

That is one weird cable! I'm guessing someone took a regular ethernet cable and replaced the connector on one end so it could be used for ADSL.

Ethernet will still run on it, but only at like 10mbps. Which would be enough for your Phillips hub, but please just toss it and replace it with a proper ethernet cable.

Only when using one specific obscure filter

I think meshtastic fills a different niche - it's much longer range and much lower bitrate than Bluetooth

Yes you need a way to expose it over https. A reverse proxy is easiest. I use Caddy.

Dad wants a new PC. He's considering spending way-too-much on an Alienware, so I figured I'd build him something better+cheaper.

I've built a couple PCs before, but never anything this high-end or expensive so I'd very much appreciate some feedback from an experienced community.
