Please explain to me. I moved away from Big Tech and installed - even on my old MacBook Pro 2015 - Linux Mint. I use open source software and my social media is on Fedivers. I tought I was "safe" by using Linux, but the Linux Foundation is sponsord by a lot of money by Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Google, etc... etc... the exact companies I try to take some distance off. Can somebody please explain me if Linux is "sold" to US Big Tech now?

Ofcourse this would happen. Every EV car has a sort-kind-of-black-box and a gps. So every car knows exactely what speed it is allowed to drive on the roads. In the future - when you have an accident - the insurrance company can investigate the black box of your car and see immediately what speed you were driving on that particular gps-point. With your mobile phone connected to the car, it can also see immediately who was driving the car, etc... It was written in the stars many years ago.

Is there a good OS app to keep track of nutrition and weight? Starting ketogenic diet in 2 weeks. Been there, done that, so I know what I’m doing, but I used to keep track on my iphone, but now that I switched over to GrapheneOS and OpenSuse I’m a little bit lost in the Opensource sea.

In the past, Tesla lawyers even initiated lawsuits against customers who dared to criticize the quality of their cars or services. Such cases are documented and therefore not fake news. I am leaving this group. Do I post with a positive message, that Europe is taking matters into its own hands and immediately get a shit load of negative comments, doomsday scenarios and conspiracy theories thrown at your head as if the European Union has a secret agenda to turn the EU into some kind of Russian or Chinese regime. No, the EU is not perfect, but neither am I, neither are you and no country, manager or company is. I thought things would be different here than on X for example, but the negativism here is not much better. I hope you continue to have fun here, but I (try to) seek more positive places.
