Unconfusable:

Ready, Set, Go!

We should explore space with semiautonomous robots. We can do space exploration at maybe a quarter of the cost of sending humans to do it.

Flood Mars with exploratory rovers for years. Then mining robots. Then manufacturing robots. Have them build facilities that build more robots to expand the process exponentially .

Then, if we decide it’s even worth it at that point, have them build a city and send people.

I went to Paris once, and despite everything I had heard my whole life, if you start off with a Bonjour and end with a Merci, in between, the locals are almost all perfectly happy to speak English with you.

I’m sure I say these things with a thick American accent so they all know not to continue too much further in French.

When the rules do not apply to you, you have to keep on publicly demonstrating this or else you lose it.

I vote for the side that doesn’t raise an army of lawless unaccountable masked gunmen raiding homes without warrants and executing people in the streets.

But the two parties are just the same!

Why so sure? Giuliani was. Chesboro was. Jenna Ellis had her license suspended.

The point is that banning the export of US oil would cause oil to stop being a globalized commodity (in the US.) US production and US consumption have not changed since the Iran war started. But US prices are up since US production is being shipped to places where their supply from Hormuz is cut off.

Other responder said that US refining can’t refine US oil, which would be extremely odd and I hadn’t heard that before but if true would indeed destroy my logic here.

Horses and oxen, which do not talk, are still compelled by man to labor.

Trump could ban US oil export. That would bring the price of gas down here.

He won’t do that.

Automakers have billions of dollars in brand new EV manufacturing equipment and lines sitting around doing nothing since the new administration changed all the regulations and incentives.

The wildest and most frustrating thing is that absolutely no one (besides OP) is talking about this. The tariffs did not increase domestic manufacturing. They did not work. Yet that is among the least of concerns for the President or any national discourse.
