We had one site in northern Ontario, it was remarkably unpopular for those who should be using it. The issue, IMO, is that clean needles continued to be provided (separate program) so all the users continued to use those and leave them all over the city sidewalks and everywhere else. The supervised sites should replace clean needles in order to allow for further safety for both the users and for the general public. At present, I cannot take my kids to the downtown of the city safety, there are snowbanks with needles in them and people actively using in public in daylight. 10 years ago, there wouldn't have been any issues.

The same people who vote to cut, not grow, social programs are asking for social programs?
