Ah, it could be, yes. But I quickly checked a few popular instances and looks like OP was banned on many. For example: dbzero (profile), lemmy.world (profile), piefed.social (profile, no such user), lemmy.zip (profile).

So these post wasn't visible to many, yet still downvoted (I assume mostly by local users). Some may argue that all sources are biased - I agree. However, the articles OP posted wasn't good. For example, you can check my other comment under a similar post from the OP: https://lemmy.ml/post/44675222/24621308.

MLs

Weren't posts from RT and TASS downvoted even on ML?

[–] Shatur@lemmy.ml -3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Yeah, but their content does.

Because it’s essentially what you’re saying in subtext.

No, I didn’t imply any of this.

I'm not sure what you mean. I don't like any of the media we mentioned in this dialogue. Not because of where they get their funding, but because of their content. I explained why I don't like TASS in this comment section above.

I don't think they're doing this because they are concerned about citizens' safety or privacy. I think the main goal is to replace these platforms with their own proprietary alternatives. This way, the ruling class can earn more money and gain full control over the content people consume. If safety were truly a concern, why not fund PeerTube development? Or open-source what they've developed?

Anyway, I prefer to decide which websites to access on my own. I think allowing an oligarchy to make that decision for us can't be a good thing.

I think they're banned for similar reasons to why Fox News articles are banned. I agree with your comment above - the source doesn't necessarily make something false. It would be silly for any outlet to post only misinformation. But some sources are worse than others. I wouldn't read any news about Ukraine from either Ukrainian or Russian state-owned sources. They're one sided to the extreme.

Regarding alt right - that might be a stretch, yeah. They're conservative (for example, they're anti-LGBT because it's banned by the law) and telling how're liberating Ukrainian people. But I don't think it's qualified as alt-right.

I'm not a westerner. But TASS and RT are like Fox News in the US. Those are simply bad sources.

Clothes sewn by a local master πŸ™‚

Together with my other gals:

Here is how she looks originally.

I love the head sculpt, but the body is not very articulated, so I ordered a third-party body from AliExpress. I just really love the ability to pose.

I ordered the MengF Black with 26 joints. Some listings include "2023" or "2022" in the title, but I think it's the same body. I ordered the one marked as "2023", but on the back of the body it says "MengF 2021". I think 2021 is the year the mold was designed. Mattel does something similar. This Simone has "Mattel 2021" on the back, but the doll was created in 2025. So as of right now the year doesn't matter, all these 26-joint bodies have only a single revision (unlike the 22-jointed ones!).

This body is not a perfect color match, but it's not very noticeable. In the photo below, you can see that the original body (3rd) is darker than the MengF (2nd).

On the far left you can also see Claudette from Barbie Basics 3. I saw some people on the Internet mention that this body fits Claudette, but I think she is too light for it. On the far right is Simone from Barbie Looks 10. She has the exact same color. These two dolls aren't mine, but maybe someone will find this information useful πŸ™‚

Here is a close-up of the head on the new body:

And here are a few more photos just for fun:

I'm not a native English speaker, so I hope I called this piece of clothing correctly. It was her first attempt. The sweater turned out to be a little big, but I think it looks nice πŸ™‚

The skirt was made by a local maker.

The clothes are on a Barbie Dreamtopia Mermaid Odile with a human body from AliExpress called MengF.
