A person in an ADHD community writing how they'll store info in their brain. The memes write themselves

Yes that's what i was saying. In your post you said 30% when it's really more 10% and meat eaters are grasping at every straw not to change diet so i just wanted the short percentage you gave to more reflect the truth. That's all. I've already switched diet like a year ago and i want more people to follow. Also going vegan is a lot more difficult than taking the train instead of the car

According to the emissions you posted that 30% is only in CO2. For Methane it seems more like 8% (rough estimate. Need to get ready for work and can't put much time in) and methane is worse for the climate than CO2 afaik. 30% could easily be dismissed as not enough to switch to a vegan diet by those considering it for the climate.

Not all men are supporting patriarchy but most men are hurt by it, like you. Making a fool of yourself in front of everyone to defend your oppressors and now everyone in here either hates or pities you. And given your reactions all over this thread this isn't the first time someone clowned on you for being a whiny bitch while trying to play tough guy like your favourite influencers told you you should. Now you're even more isolated from women and sink deeper into the "tough guy" trying way too hard role. If you had just been a normal guy that doesn't go around belittling women then you wouldn't have felt attacked by this meme or community at all. You'd have realised that a meme criticizing one stupid man is not an attack against all men as not all men are like that because again, not all men are part of the patriarchy

Love the concept and a first try of the website was also nice.

Coming from Kanji Study I want to ask if there is a SRS (staggered repetition study) mode planned. It's what i mostly use in Kanji Study but there it was lacking for me as it only tracks Kanji and not words (it asks for words in the tests but the answer correctness only gets tracked for the one Kanji you have to fill in, not the whole word). I'm a dev so i might contribute at some point but atm my home PC isn't set up for programming and I'm often too exhausted after work to program in my free time as well

You literally just came in here, told us that everyone here is a hag and wished us all to hell. The post did not generalize to all men, the community does not generalize to all men, the potential type of community op wanted did not generalize to all men. If you feel attacked by a post calling out misogyny in a single instance then it's not all men, it's you.

Thank you, this really describes my feelings towards that game well. The first few runs were great with experimenting and stuff but then you try for higher stakes and quickly fall into the optimal strat flow where it's kinda boring unless you get ridiculous runs but i don't wanna wade through meh to get that one god run that's actually fun.

In general: Because the current status quo is that people assume straight as the default thus we show pride in our sexuality and label it so the following generation knows that it's ok the not be straight.

In the context of this meme: gold star gays are weird enough to not consider people gay if they had straight sex in the past even if they realized that they don't like straight relationships/sex for themselves. So I pay them no mind.

Hey y'all. Idk if this is the community for this because it seems mostly link posts, but here goes:

How do you go about finding food in a country you don't speak the language of? I've just came back from an Italy hiking "vacation" that caused me two meltdowns in just 4 days. It was a really rough hike and I've been the weakest of the group and didn't make it to the top. I don't want to go into details but i had a really rough time and food usually is my comfort zone helping me reset from the shitty stuff.

Now the problem was that i don't speak Italian and we went to a bunch of cool looking places only to see the menu was not translated and didn't have vegan or not labels on it so i caused everyone to not go there. So instead of comfort, food search was more anxiety inducing and I'd like to avoid that in the future. It's been the first time for me to visit a foreign country since going vegan and I was shocked by the lack of consideration for vegans in a lot of places.

So yeah how do you prep for tours where you don't know which part of which town you're on every day?

Well I told y'all about the coworker that I might be crushing on. She dropped today in a conversation that she has a boyfriend and I feel crushed. I think I'm gonna befriend her anyways because I'm mostly ace so differentiating between crush and friendly affection is not that easy for me and we vibe really well after all. I'm like an excited puppy around a bunch of people anyways and most of them I don't have any romantic feelings for so who knows, I might just be generally happy around her without romance involved anyways.

Gals I'm in trouble. Some co-workers and I went to a sporty after work event on Friday and one of them i really vibe well with.

So anyways as a bunch of people start to leave we kinda move to the side as our muscles are also done for the day and get into some deep talk about some worries that have been plaguing her.

At some point we both kinda move to go so we get moving into the changing rooms while taking the whole time. At some point I compliment her charisma and she thanks me in a cute shy tone (you never see her being shy at work). We move out and know that we won't be taking the same train. Her's actually just moves in to the station and she ignores it kinda and just keeps walking with me to a later station as my train doesn't drive from that location.

The talk moves to me as well and my deeper problems and motivations and what not. Anyways as we get to the stop both our trains depart from we keep talking while waiting.

As my train is like a minute from arriving she does a thing that I kept thinking about the whole weekend: she asks really shyly if it is ok with me if she also hops into my train for the 2 stops until our lines split. Idk I could see and feel from her voice how she didn't want our talk to end and my heart just melted. She hopped into my train for the 2 stops and then got out as planned as she had a later meetup with a friend of hers that was already planned way in advance.

Idk I'm sure I'm overthinking things and also I keep hearing how you're not supposed to date people from your workplace.. but I felt drawn to her from the moment we met for the first time and her going out of her way to spend more time with me makes me quite giddy right now 😖

Idk I kinda needed to share this with y'all

I'm currently wondering what to do if my favourite recipes go offline or if my mom's special traditional dish where i have the recipe in written form gets lost. Do you have a (preferably FOSS) app to store such recipes? I'm currently trying Cooky which is FOSS but is difficult to use for cooking: you can't really group cooking steps well and when cooking a recipe you can only view one step at a time unless you're editing the recipe. I like however that you can tag the dishes so it's easier to find specific stuff like vegan or spicy dishes.
