I'd love to see a video that takes this concept, but walks around with it. Literally

Start by getting out of a car on the side of the street or in a parking lot, and when the camera gets out of the car, all the "car areas" drop away, leaving only the paths you're "allowed" to take. Tiny sections right against the parking spaces, zebra crossings, sidewalks, all normal (or in this style).

Camera goes about a normal day, and as they're looking around, all the car designated areas are just voids.

Bonus points if areas you're technically not supposed to walk are boxed off in like a video game style DO NOT ENTER wall. For instance, there are sections of my city with NO sidewalks, up against private residences. So your options are walk over people's yards or in the street. In this scenario, it's a void against a wall. Good luck.

I'm just thinking about walking to get to downtown, and there's no way I could do it without being somewhere I'm "not allowed". And imagining the massive voids everywhere is a bit depressing. Not that roads and parking lot deserts are any less depressing... I need to go walk in the woods for a bit...

What they have:

Literal magic

Immortal Vulcans that are a bit more chill

Personal cloaking device

Weapons that are impervious to scattering fields and ionized atmospheric radiation that renders phasers inoperable.

What we have

(see meme)

I see no downsides.

I'll have you know it's only SEVEN years old, and it has SIX gb of RAM.

I have all but given up gaming on it, as even half life 2 now runs choppy and slow.

I just don't have money to replace it with anything.

Not just clickbait, either. Straight up lies.

They cite their own article, INCORRECTLY I might add, to say "nicotine free vapes aren't nicotine free".

I mean, if this is the scientific standard people listen to nowadays, I have some bridges that need selling. scientifically

I looked my mother in the eyes after a long day once and responded to a similar statement with "No, I hated your chilli when I was a kid."

She really does make the absolute worst chilli I've ever tasted. It's so bland. There is almost no chilli powder in it, just some salt and a little bit of pre-ground pepper from a packaged salt/pepper shaker. The recipe amounts to "throw some hamburger and tomato sauce with canned beans in a pot and cook it for an hour and then add random amounts of all THREE seasonings"

It's a wonder I survived to be able to cook on my own.

I once spent 12 hours traveling across 3 states.

One state was gone in 3 hours, the next in about 5 MINUTES since it was just the tip, and the remaining 9 took me to the other side. Granted, at the time, the speed limit was 60 the entire way, and the vehicle was limited to 55 for the trailer.

Anesthetics are irrelevant.

You will be assimilated. (and forced to wire things as directly as possible because that is more efficient as long as it doesn't hinder future endeavors)

You're literally partially making sure you still get PAID when shit happens.

Very good point, and I honestly wonder how common that knowledge even is.

Then again, almost all anti-union propaganda hinges on people not knowing enough about the subject to call it out. As with most propaganda.

Legit had someone from my last job start going on a break room tirade about how "those damn unions just want your money" but strangely had no rebuttal when asked why giving them 2% of your paycheck is a bad thing when they negotiated your RAISE to be 15% and your health benefits add up to an additional savings of around 20%.

I'm SO SORRY you're getting extra money and healthcare rather than the NOTHING you had before.

Nowadays I like to print up cards with unionizing information on them, facts vs myths, links to read up more, anti-union tactics, links to join unions, links to find HELP setting up a union, and basically anything I could cram into a business card. Now I leave about 10 of them any time I go into a non union store.

Given how previous management has reacted to "someone" leaving these in the break room, I'm sure I've caused a few sleepless nights.
