Oh neat, misogynistic and transphobic
PoastRotato
Yep, fair enough. Didn't even have to scroll that far
Tried this with a pair of swim goggles once. Worked with the onions, but got clowned so hard by my roommates I cried anyway 😭
Do you have examples/context? I've seen these comics around here and there but I don't recall seeing anything misogynistic
This is not news
Impeachment is the first step in bringing formal charges against the president. Assuming they have the will to convict (still a massive assumption at this point), it would represent a decisive move toward ending Trump's presidency.
People who don't feel like they are worthy of love are still worthy of love.
I think the fact that there could have been at least one newly freed slave who was the child of a first generation US slave (and therefore would have been ineligible for birthright citizenship by Sauer's logic) makes Barrett's point salient though. Sauer argues that the whole (and only) point of the 14th amendment was to grant African American slaves citizenship, but if you can find an African American slave who (all other things being equal) would not have been able to benefit from the citizenship granted by the amendment according to Sauer's interpretation, then his argument has a massive hole in it.
Why is it terrible? It honestly seemed like a pretty good point to me.
Except this isn't a football match. It's real life, and the more people we have who are armed with knowledge to make wise decisions, the stronger our position. A spectator's knowledge of football won't influence the outcome of the game. You can't exactly say the same about this.
Seems like a great way to discourage the folks who need that knowledge from requesting it
My quick and dirty go-to meal for when I'm too tired to cook or just didn't have time to prepare anything is Hot Dogs and Rice:
Chop up three hot dogs, ~¼ inch per slice, and set aside. Dice a small yellow onion; melt a tablespoon of butter in a pot over medium heat and throw in the onion, sauteeing until translucent. Throw in a cup of rice and allow the rice to toast a bit. Once toasted, add 2.5 cups of chicken broth (I use Better than Bouillon, it slaps) and let it reach a boil; meanwhile, gather ¼ tsp turmeric, ¼ tsp oregano, ¼ tsp basil, ¼ tsp rosemary, ¼ tsp garlic powder, and ¼ tsp onion powder, and dump that mixture into your pot and stir a little. Once you've got some boilage, add your chopped up hot dogs and ½ cup frozen veggies, then put the lid on and let it simmer for 20 minutes, after which you can remove from heat and let stand (lid on) for another 10 minutes. Then grab a fork and eat! It's quick, easy, and dirt cheap, while still being pretty yummy.
