Wasn't necessarily bad just old and small for a tall family and lacked a lot of things like wheel controls etc and it had 89bhp in 2009 so it was most likely down on power as well, had good miles though aha

I mean yeah the car obviously feels different but its still driving at the end of the day, i don't regret it but at least i now know for next time to curve the excitement down a bit

Same people buying this are the same fools claiming the government are tracking everyone's phones

it's overrated anyway, it's just a big clock on top of a building.

Totally unaware this was a thing.

31 here, pretty interesting. I'm from the UK, I don't know if that changes anything.

i hate where ever we are going.

It's that same the other way round, dogs to an extent can understand, but a whale doesn't know we call it a whale.

There I am minding my own business, got some girlie pop music on and just chilling with my daughter, just nodding my head to the music and then this woman and here husband pull up, and I just hear laughter, she is literally hand over mouth just laughing, head on her husband looking away. She sees me and kinda stops and as I turn my head she says hey with laughter in her voice and just back to laughing.

Maybe it's my side profile, and me bobbing my head just looked funny to them. Regardless, I just had to get home and not let myself get worked up because I'm driving. Unironically might take a day off driving to be honest, call me soft, but it really hit me hard and has made me really self conscious again.

You have the sort of OT fans which are like level 5 Simpsons fans who only consume seasons 1–9 and everything else is inferior (joking). Then you have people like to go on into further in seasons like 15 etc (Prequels) and then you have everything after that which some people obviously still enjoy the show or are coming back after so many years because it was getting some praise again.

I know you might be able to apply this to other fan bases, but this one just seemed closer.

I personally dip in and out, there have been some decent ones lately.

I was watching a video about a painting and the commentary mentioned how it looks at you and most people in the comments mentioned the same thing but to me, it was like she was looking behind me (this is going somewhere) commonly I don't make much eye contact so to get around this I look at the space between the eyes of whoever I'm talking to with occasional looking at the eyes quickly, is this noticeable on their end? Because when I looked at the painting in the eyes, she was looking at me as well, and it felt like a massive difference.

The painting in question for anyone interested.

I was reading a post about aliens and almost half of the comments were just millennials saying "haha i want to die anyway so hurry up", it's not even depressing or funny because It's just so overdone on every platform.

I get that things aren't great at the moment, but it just makes us look weak as a generation IMO, I know it's meant to be a joke, but it wasn't funny 10 years ago.

My wife and I are going to a concert in a few months which is considered 'girl pop' and we have standing tickets. I wanted to get a look at what a show by this artist is like, so I search YouTube just to find it's a bunch of young adult woman screaming anytime something is done like a dance move as an example, but this just isn't me.

I have a worry that someone is going to start filming me for being 'grumpy' or whatever, usually I wouldn't think this much into it, but I'm already going to be sticking out like a sore thumb and in the current year I always assume I'm in the background of someone's video at any given moment and I don't want my awkwardness being confused for anything else other than what it is.

Am I in over my head, or should I just not overthink it and try to enjoy myself?
