Is there a reason we don't utilize this guy more for agitprop? This guy seems great to throw in the face of liberals:

He's even got books! Apparently he's still alive.

I'm starting to think the John Kiriakou media push is to effectively "drown out" this other CIA whistleblower from the algorithm/search.

Yes. They are both curiosities. Especially Sachs.

the phenomena mirrors the chauvinism of empire, honestly. Anything sovereign must be demonized.

This is probably serious. Sounds like what my manager does already.

Trying to have some of this stuff around in case I'm ever in position to help someone struggling with opioid addictions. Is there a reputable source where I can buy around 15-20 applicators and be sure it is "high-quality", etc

I feel like eventually you may want to break the list in two parts (basics / advanced). The former geared towards understanding enough about socialist theory and history to genuinely be a capable comrade, the second one aimed at people who have been involved with socialism for a while but they could use advanced theory/history to avoid complacency.

The basic list would benefit from being "jack of all trades" style - a broader tent will bring more people to the movement. The advanced list, I imagine, would not need to include necessarily every aspect of socialism and would moreso focus on the most pressing modern analyses.

Just a thought.

Abolishing the billionaire class is proving difficult. Let's just skip to abolishing money - two birds, one stone.

Brave, honest soul.

Basil similarly will do this.

my point is that even our western nations aren't strangers to mass manipulation and oppression, at all.

Agreed, it's my opinion that they actually have always been the best at it.

Just got a Switch 1 (hexbear.net)

Person I'm dating was upgrading to a Switch 2 and I was amenable to buying their used Switch 1 off of them.

So, now I have a Switch 1. I don't really know what to do on it. I'm not familiar with the Switch 1 game catalogue, yet. I haven't been keeping tabs on Nintendo since the Gamecube days. I had a similar experience with buying a Wii after it was old news and that was cool until they stopped supporting online features for the device (so I couldn't download any more retro-catalogue games).

So, I guess I'm hoping to finally get all the retro games I like on the Switch 1 via its online features. Also, hoping to grab a few banger games for guests to play whenever they are visiting me. I also have several friends with Switches at this point so I guess online multiplayer might be of interest.

So, what I'd like to know:

  1. Should I be concerned about online support for the Switch 1 suddenly vanishing like it did with the Wii in the near future?
  2. What are your game recommendations for single player?
  3. What are your game recommendations for in-person multiplayer?
  4. Any particularly great multiplayer titles where you can play online with people you know?

Hey comrades-

Here's my set-up:

-Rowing Machine

-Pull up bar

-20 lbs kettlebell

-Yoga mat

-Access to (shared gym space) a cable machine, treadmills, and a weight-bench w/ free weights

I'm re-establishing a fitness routine - my previous routine was mostly body-weight exercises and long ass jogs. This time I'd like to make use of the equipment listed above.

One problem I'm having is that the equipment in my apartment seems to be hitting all the same muscle groups, so I don't really have a good "circuit" going. My abs and legs are getting obliterated while my upper body could be doing more. Suggestions on what exercises to add in to balance things out would be welcome.

Aside from that, I'm, not really looking to "get huge" or anything like that - honestly my primary motivator is weight loss. But, I'm fine with building some muscle along the way - so I'm looking for a pretty basic nutrition regiment that isn't super time consuming and won't break the bank, either. I'm considering doing the protein power smoothie thing but I'm also just looking for good advice on this because I'm mostly flying blind which will make me easy prey for online marketing regarding "Supplements". At the same time I don't want to just blindly not ingest a tried-and-true nutritional staple for fitness-minded people.

I am very comfortable in the kitchen so healthy recipes are definitely also welcome. I'm already eating as much broccoli and bok choy as is humanly possible. Though I do want to lose weight, I'm not looking for a keto diet - a life without carbs is not worth living. I'd prefer to intermittently fast if necessary.
