Is there an option I missed to automatically have a "BOT" tag for bot users?
If not it would be nice to have, especially for community your not familiar with.

Michael Scott is really the perfect personnification!

I have always show link below post disabled but in post and comments view for post the link is always shown below.

In settings, based on the example, when toggling this setting no link should be displayed below and I guess tapping directly on image should open the link?

Is there something I don't understand or is it a known bug? I couldn't find any post about it! If it is really a bug then it's strange that no one would have reported it before.

For comments you can set fab quick action to go to top but for posts list it's not something that's possible. It would be nice if it was an option. Actually all actions should be available for quick actions imho but being able to go back quiclly to top is the one I would really love! ๐Ÿ˜…

It would also be nice if there was a setting to only press for quick action and long press for menu. In this mode fab button should use quick action icon instead of "..."

Anyway thanks for Summit. It's really a great lemmy app!

Syncthing has it's own web interface which any web browser can connect to.
For more information refer to syncthing documentation and configuring section. More specifically for the GUI : An Intro to the GUI

It's only meant to manage when syncthing is running and notify about running state. Native syncthing webui interface is good and I don't understand why some apps bother to implement their own.
Personnally, no matter if it's on my phone ot desktop, I only use webui. So on Android it's exactly what I need.

On android, imho, there is only 2 alternatives : marcus syncthing tray and syncthing fork.
I would say first one is too complex and don't have a good UI for phone.
Second one is now developed after original dev (catfriend) handed it's repo. Communication about this change has been quite obscure and circonstances are not clear, especially when new owner was without previous history. A lot of people think it's shaddy. It has been several months now and I don't know what's the consensus now!

With smartphones current prices and componants becoming more expensive they are realizing not a lot of people will buy a smartphone costing more than 1500 dollars. Especially when hardware is now good enough and people are starting to try to keep their phone as long as possible.

Making you rent your phone allow to hide how much it's going to cost you and ensure them a steady cash income.

Hope he gets back his memory. I am not keen on a Subaru which has no past hardship memories. IMHO it is what makes it who he really is!
They are going to make us wait several weeks before knowving more ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜‰

I would add it's often more up to date than distro repositories. It is especially nice when you have long been awaiting a feature and it's finally available.

It's a shame there is no information on what caused profit falls... It would have been nice to know what's the gross revenue compared to the previous year. Same for staff costs and other operating expenses. Notably, is AI the reason for decline in profit?

It made me wonder if Qifrey could turn out to be a villain ! Not a brimmed cap one but still. He probably has a beef with them seeing how eager is he to personally find them. But how far will he go to exact his revenge!?

AV2 vs AV1: What the Next-Gen Video Codec Brings to the Table

Or older article but more comprehensive : AV1 vs AV2 Video Codec: 7 Key Differences You Need to Know. It's key takeaways :

AV2 delivers 30% better compression efficiency than AV1, which already compresses 30% better than HEVC (H.265).

AV2 encoding demands 2-3 times more computational power than AV1, requiring advanced hardware like RTX 5090 for practical use.

AV2 will officially release by end of 2025, with widespread hardware support expected around 2027 or later.

AV2 introduces advanced features like split-screen delivery, enhanced AR/VR support, and dynamic bitrate switching for adaptive streaming.

88% of AOMedia members plan to implement AV2 within two years, despite infrastructure and hardware compatibility challenges.

What's the difference with ublock and why not contact ublock developer to propose to integrate it instead of what did Brave? Article don't mention what is better with adblock rust! :-/
