You are conflating paedophilia with sexual offenders. Which makes the situation worse for all potential victims because it makes seeking help more difficult for those paedophiles that do not want to become a perpetrator. There are legit therapies available to deal with paraphilias.

Note that the majority of perpetrators is not paedophilic. Sexual assault is often about power and dominance. Children are simply easy targets.

Vorneweg, ich habe die DDR nicht mehr bewusst miterlebt.

Aber nach dem, was mir meine Eltern und Großeltern so erzählt haben, hat eine Entnazifizierung eigentlich nur zum Schein stattgefunden und Rassismus und Nationalismus waren genauso allgegenwärtig wie in den 90ern - nur wurde es von den DDR-Medien totgeschwiegen bzw. der SED zensiert.
