Lovely_reader doing the real investigative journalism here, I love it ☺️

So yes it's ai slopified, but it is also a real graph that didn't need to be slopified but was done so using AI upscaling.

So, everyone is right in a way fun twist 😅

Pretty disappointed in Lemmy not noticing and downvoting this AI slop.

I'm all for calling out bullshit IoT garbage but zoom in and look closer.

Update: op updated the photo with a non AI image that's the same but without hallucinated text. The original graph was real and made by a human, but through memes got degraded and an AI upscaler added new hallucinated text to it. Mystery solved and fixed.

The generation war, the political war is just to distract us from the fact we are all under assault by a class war from the super rich. If we fight each other, we can't fight the rich.

Blame it on the billionaires, not other generations.

That link is broken for me.

You mean they lied about it happing because it didn't actually happen? Because this tweet by their official account looks to me like them disclosing a server seizure.

"THIS IS NOT A DRILL: The Dutch authorities, without a warrant, just seized one of our VPN servers saying they'll give it back after they "fully analyze it".

Windscribe uses RAM disk servers so the only thing the authorities will find is a stock Ubuntu install. The bigger worry is the unredacted Epstein files we had on there..."

Oh man both my brain and my browser are broken, neither of us could find the mention of Alberta. But you're right 😅

Notice how they aren't moving to Alberta. Even American doctors and nurses know how bad it is and how bad it's going to get here.

Exactly my thoughts. The fact that he is doing this just suggests to me he's getting paid better by lobbyists and basically keeps his money hidden in the Caymans.

I want our public servants paid well enough that they avoid corruption. How well does it work? Better than Mexico, but I'm not sure if it's better than the US.

We need more ways to strengthen our democracy by holding our politicians accountable.

This is the answer.

Additional ideas: I happened to be on Synology and wanted to download google takeout files directly from Google to the nas. So I ran an instance of chromium in docker and used that browser to download the 50gb takeout files directly to the nas.

Take note of the size of your immich library before and after you import with immich go, and how big the takeout files are before using immich go. If you miss a few files you'll know because of the size discrepancy.

One thing about monitors lasting so long is that it feels good that I'm not making e-waste from monitors every time I upgrade my computer. For the 25 years I've been using desktops I've only bought 3 monitors, I can't say that about the rest of my computer hardware.

Sometimes, when uploading to some sites, if I upload images with resolution and size within the correct parameters, the server doesn't re-compress the images. If the images do get compressed, then they come out looking degraded.

I don't know if those settings are per-server.

Does anyone know if there is a preferred resolution, file type and file size for photos and videos on pixelfed in general or pixelfed.ca?
