The pair fucked up too many things too early on and became an image of infighting and disorganisation. It would have been way more straight-forward and easier to get to this point if Corbyn launched the party alone.

It's too late for them to build traction. They missed a moment and it turns out the Greens stole the _lime_light. 🍋‍🟩

I think it's a good example here, as it's clearly indicated with the watermark.

Define "clearly" 😅 it took a while for you and I to notice the watermark and over half the commenters still believe this is a real image.

My clues were ... then I started to look for other clues and noticed the watermark

For travel, I've tried CoMaps and CityMapper and Magic Earth

I always end up coming back to CityMapper because its nicely made and does what I need best; which is public transport routes.

But it sounds like maybe you're looking for ALL THE OTHER STUFF; reviews, opening times, menus, etc. for local businesses?

This year, Norway and Andøya Space will host the symposium, which will take place over four days in Trondheim, from May 31st to June 4th.

Charlotte Bjørkmo, project manager for the symposium at Andøya Space, will welcome researchers from around the world working within atmospheric and space research.

She has worked diligently together with a committee from Andøya Space to put together this year’s event. In addition, a program committee consisting of representatives from various research institutions and universities has determined the conference topics.

Although Reform has raised a total of £36m in that period, analysis by the Nerve reveals that more than £29m has come from traditionally Conservative sources. That figure, along with a slew of recent defections from the Tory party, has alarmed many Reform members; some say this confirms their view that Reform UK is really the Conservative party in disguise. At the time of writing, half of Reform UK’s newly announced “shadow cabinet” are former Tory ministers.

Hold on whilst I find a historical weather period from a million years ago where this happened and the world didn't end. (/denial)

There's a lot of tech industry talent in the UK and Europe. A massive part of Microsoft 365 Copilot is built in UK, Norway and India. A lot of Google Maps is built in Australia. The talent is spread across the globe and I think because the US tech industry is very dominant there's this illusion that the talent doesn't exist outside the US.

For a company that claims to be EU focused they sure were hiring a lot in Palo Alto in the past 6 months.

A top Welsh Labour figure has defected to the Green party under Zack Polanski.

Former Labour group leader on Carmarthenshire County Council, Cllr Robert James, has defected to the party as the so-called “Polanski effect” continues.

James is the first ever councillor to join the Greens in Wales and the party claims it is in talks with others “weighing up their decision”.

It comes as a Find Out Now poll carried out last week put Labour on just 15%, a staggering three points behind the Greens as Zack Polanski’s party continues to surge in popularity with voters.

The poll of 2,717 people put Reform UK on 33%, the Greens on 18%, the Conservatives on 16% and the LibDems on 11%.

Announcing the defection at Wales Green Party conference, Polinski said: “I know this will be the first of many councillors who we will be welcoming to the Wales Green Party.

“I’m delighted to be welcoming Robert in person at this historic Wales conference where members are planning how to break through into the Senedd in the elections in 2026.

“This defection of a country councillor shows that the momentum is building and more breakthroughs will follow.

“Rob is a pioneer – he was the youngest Labour group leader in Wales, and now the first councillor in Wales to join the Green Party from Labour.
