ADHS kommt sehr oft mit extremen Problemen bei der Impulskontrolle. Wenn es keine Anreize gibt, ist alles gut. Befindet sich aber was zum Naschen im Haus, dann ist es in kürzester Zeit weg. Das ist ja noch harmlos. Hat man aber irgendwie Zugang zu anderen Suchtmitteln schaut es schon anders aus. Ich kann mich gut beherrschen, wenn ich Herr der Lage bin und mein Leben gerade gut läuft. Fällt das aber weg, durch schlechte Politik, Nazis, übelste Arbeitsverdichtung etc., dann kann ich meine Impulse ohne Medikamente nicht kontrollieren. Ich kann die Medis aber nicht immer nehmen, da sie bei mir leider starke Nebenwirkungen zeigen.

Es geht nicht nur mir so. Es geht sehr sehr vielen so. Daher find ich es etwas assig, wenn man das einfach so abtut, nur weil man selber nicht betroffen ist.

Ich selber bemitleide mich jetzt nicht. Ich hab mein Leben lang so gelebt. Es wäre zwar um Längen einfacher gewesen, wäre ich normal im Kopf, aber shouganai. Allerdings habe ich Angst um meine Tochter, denn sie hat diese Scheisse auch. Die kapitalistische Welt in der wir leben nutzt solche Störungen schamlos aus.

I agree with you that Terry Pratchett is so much better. But it's not very comparable. Harry Potter lives from the comfy feeling of a magical boarding school and the classic "chosen one" thing. It's easy reading and draws a very clear imagery in the minds of the readers. The disc world is a bit more... Abstract I guess?

So I'd rather pirate Harry Potter if it's something that interests you. And definitely also read Terry Pratchett, simply because it is better.

Just don't go with soft wood, as you will get many dents and scratches into your desk. But apart from that, it's pretty straight forward. The frame will provide the support needed to prevent the wooden surface from sagging.

I have an iPhone for work and I hate everything about it. There are like 2 or 3 super polished apps that you won't get with Android but that's about it. I may be biased though, as I must use microslop office on it and it's the worst experience.
