Interesting, if true. Not totally doubting you, but at least they don’t reward that behavior when the evidence is laid bare. Granted it shouldn’t take public exposure to take action, but this is where we are at so far.

Exactly. It’s bad for everyone else but him. The fact he still yields any power at all is displays an absolute void of congressional responsibility. This sort of reporting is bullshit. Every publication should be calling for his termination, front page, full headlines and continue publishing that every day until he steps down or is pulled out into the streets. Shits gotta stop
What a dickhead. May justice be applied where necessary.
Perhaps one of the most important takeaways here is that at no point did the democratic party promote unyielding defense or support for Swalwell. Flawed as they may be, they don’t have the level of “party over people” that republicans demonstrate when something similar happens. Remind your conservative acquaintances of that.
“Truthfully, I now have even less respect for our leadership team than I did before, which I didn’t know was possible,” RJ said.
You know, there is another guy (a convicted felon, mind you) who has a history of verbal and sexual abuse, along with evidence of pedophilia sitting in the White House. How fast do we think that will be looked into?
Obligatory RIP, Chuck
Throw Kneedelus in there too for good measure. And Czarface perhaps. Good list though. Haven’t played Wagon Christ in years.
SNL skits were always a mixed bag, and as previously stated, never improv-forward. Weekend update has historically been the consistent oasis of the show.
Purely subjective take, mind, but I feel like the rare occasion I watch more than the cold-open and weekend update, maybe one in ten skits ever seem funny and paced well. Most drag on for longer than they should given the density. And admittedly, I am getting old.
Hell yes. I still have my (formerly white) COC shirt somewhere. I saw them like 33-ish years ago in SF. It was everything I hoped it would be. Plus, they never strayed from the act, which is great and why people getting all upset about it completely miss the point of the show. Oh well. Sucks to be someone who never gets to enjoy a show in person.
Let’s not forget The Critic.
If we are all being honest, the early Kricfalusi Ren & Stimpy episodes were the apex of cartoons; Animaniacs being a close second. Though nothing really leapfrogged the boundaries of reality like The Brothers Grunt. That show only made sense to me while I was tripping balls.
And yeah, I know Kricfalusi was a terrible person. Sucks to have that stigma on such a masterpiece of a show.
Jesus Chad Christ that was funny. The headline alone was great, but the video 😚👌
