Under sandet in Danish, I had a teacher who owned a willys jeep and was into reenactment be in that film, his willys was also used, I remember him being very happy about it when it was being filmed lol.

If someone ever asks you if you would like to see a Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Icelandic, Finnish or Russian comedy then...well, I won’t say “Run for your life!!” but I will say “Be careful”.

Movies in the north loves to deal with serious issues like death, drugs, alcohol and other fun stuff, and even most of our comedies will leave you with a feeling that the world is a horrible place.

You think I’m exaggerating? Fine, but don’t say I didn’t warn you when you sit in the dark, crying.

A nice example is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XE4ZBcK01HU It’s considered one of the funniest scenes in the movie. He doesn’t like that the cow is looking at him. And punching woman is funny too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2WrE7SKmK4

Hand built wheels are actually quite expensive and tend to be a premium product, its also very hard to do so gg to him for learning it.

Dracula. The vampire comes from Transylvania in Romania, Van Helsing comes from the Netherlands, and the story takes place in England. :D

They’re quoting the movie from 1992

When I went to England I noticed that people would apologize or even freak out if they as much as touched my little finger. At first I thought that maybe I was putting people off, but later it was explained to me that English people are just incredibly nervous about touching people they don't know very well.

I've been to conventions in quite a few countries by now, and England is the only country where most people asked for a handshake rather than a hug. :XD:

My own input: this is very true as a Brit there's a big taboo around touching anyone unless you're very close.

If a cat could open cans, how many cans would a cat open?

I lived there for several years, must admit the attitude towards sex and sexual things is very very liberal compared to any other place I've seen.

🌽

I actually don't know if this is the case all over China or just some parts, but I've seen it mentioned in a lot of places.

Last weekend I was invited to the Raptus festival in Norway and every night they served traditional Norwegian food for us.

The first and third night I was so excited about the food. It all tasted great and I was having a blast. The cured meat was a dream, the potatoes were unusually delicious, the fish was like nothing else and they had the best butter I've ever tasted.

But on the second night they served us raspeballer and I was so confused and upset. The potato balls tasted like soggy cardboard and the meat was so salty it hurt my gums, and I usually eat food so spicy Indians tell me to take it down a notch. And I wasn't alone. The other guests had to excuse themselves too, except the one American who loved it.

So sorry Norway, I like your food overall but I'll never be a fan of raspeballer.

Swedes are the stereotypical geeks of the North.

"Perkele" is one of the most common swearwords in Finland. In this case, the only word Finland can (or will) say, and he only say it on very special occasions. I’d sleep with one eye open tonight Sweden...

And it’s probably best you don’t ask what Denmark and Norway are up to. If Sweden isn’t with them and is willing to talk to Finland, it can’t be good. :XD:

"A cat has nine lives. For three he plays, for three he strays, and for the last three he stays."

In Italy and Greece they have 7.

In Arabic and Turkish parts of the world cats have 6.
