Nice recipe I will have to give it a try!

I used fedora 35 to work with the fedora 35 ps4 drivers. Older versions also run better on the ps4.

I set this one up myself because none of the setups on ps4 seem to have icewm for the desktop environment.

I have been getting into running linux on ps4 lately I am probably the first person to post a video of the Game word rescue running on a ps4.

I remember hearing about that one having moderation problems or something. Some nsfw sometimes made it through to sfw instances though that could have been a filtering issue with kbin which is an instance that also existed.

I remember piefed being basically a proof of concept. I think beehaw was considering migrating to it at one point. I might give it a try.

uBO is an internet condom it protects you against intrusive ads and trackers. Using protection is not and never will be stealing.

It has been about a year since I was last here on beehaw or the fediverse in general. Last time I was here the fediverse was a chaotic place where you didn't know if your home instance would last another week without randomly getting shut down. I am curious what has changed in my long absence.

With the writing on the wall with firefoxes own version of "don't be evil" being removed I was curious what people on beehaw were switching to.

I was curious if anyone has any tips on where to look for computers/laptops about to be thrown out because its to outdated to run modern windows. I was thinking replacing the OS with a user friendly version of linux and giving it to people that would otherwise have to buy a new laptop/pc. I have heard businesses and schools end up throwing out their old stuff when they get it replaced though idk how I would go about asking.

TL:DW Steam has now changed its language from buy game to A purchase of a digital product grants a licence to the product on steam. This may also be non compliant with the new regulation as it still uses the word purchase. Also GOG used this opportunity to let you know their games come with an installer that they cannot take away from you.

If your provider is unable to verify VoLTE support for your device, it may be blocked from Australian networks from the 1st of November 2024.

I have a few dvds with some missing their cases and was wondering if anyone has tried making their own. The problem with a lot of tutorials is you already buy a basic case to modify that already have the push buttons. From searching online I have found them refereed to as push hubs and spider hubs though there doesn't seem to be a consistent name for them.

For example people consider ps2 retro but I always considered retro being in the 80s and earlier. No right or wrong answers it was just something I was curious about.

I recently decided to reinstall linux mint 21.3 Cinnamon to clean any extra packages I installed over time so I didnt have to manually look for and uninstall packages that I no longer use. Though when I tried to run lutris it would no longer run so instead of trying to get it to work I thought I would try pop os. First thing I noticed when installing Pop OS was the different layout. I was use to the linux mint layout since I went from windows to Mint. I never used Mac so this layout might seem normal for mac users. So far I have reinstalled Lutris and got lord of the rings the battle for middle earth 2 to run. This is part2 of my first post from a few months ago. 1 month of Linux Mint and some thoughts.

This can also apply to peertube instances if you use that.

This seems like an odd question I know but I have been thinking there are probably so many theoretical hobbies that nobody has actually done before.
