Cutie. It is, however, spelled: "Atelier"

I think the most ethical would be buying used, no?

I'm not sure of how that's relevant because they would just attach the devices to trains and other public transit anyway. To be fair, that would make it harder for tracking, at least, by a little.

now it's just companies pushing to see how much they can be allowed to exploit you for the least cost.

On a directly related note, Linux is so awesome for being the most attainable it's ever been. Too bad that its own transparency basically ensures that it may never become mainstream... But I still laud absolutely France for trying!

It's weird because I've installed Mint on other PCs and Macs and have never seen this problem before (admittedly probably slightly older versions of Mint), which keeps recurring on my machine.

I just came across this handy-dandy, text-only guide. It works and just needed a logout to take effect! I just figured I'd drop a reminder to everyone here that lithium-ion batteries are happiest being no higher than 80%, normally speaking. Hopefully we can move to graphite or sodium batteries... or maybe even LiFePO~4~...

I used the Keyboard's "Custom Shortcuts" area. What am I missing? I see nothing in there to add permissions... I'm running Linux Mint 22.3 'Zena', if that matters.

So what you're really saying is... Pile on the weed! 🌿

Ironically, those are the correct people to be in charge. Anyone else is usually a narcissist, or at least has narcissistic tendencies getting in the way of actual progress.

What do you do?

~~True, downvote the post until @return2ozma@lemmy.world changes it!~~ Oh, never mind.

That... was my whole point of talking; when I said this:

How or to whom is it disrespectful if people say your current name in a mocking way and you just wanna avoid that?

I was already just talking in a general manner, not about this particular case. So, generally speaking, do you then actually agree?

Rinse after you eat anything (or drink anything other than water) and you'll never get cavities.

I'm curious if you'd be willing to expound on this, if you sincerely meant it:

infinite world creation

Oh. I didn't know as I heard it wasn't really worth reading nor watching... Thanks for the enlightenment.

Edit: I seek a server-less solution.

The only thing I can see is Linwood Flow but it looks like it's a really, really long way off before becoming a primary calendar app.

If it could just store all calendar content in 1 local file, then that could be so easily auto-synced across devices with !syncthing@programming.dev. Does anyone have any leads?

Hmm, I just now learned about Fruux, in this Reddit post...

In the formatting strip with bold, italics, etc., there is a troll face on the right that has never done anything when touched; I'm using v1.71.3 (288) on an S23 running Android 15 and One UI 7.0.

I'm trying to report this company-promoting spam but the loading wheel never seems to pass a report through. I've tried it on other instances as well, equally unsuccessfully. I thought several versions ago, reports submitted with no problem.

I had no idea that this post even had a URL and thought there was only the embedded video. I thought Summit showed article links freely. What's going on? S23 on Android 15 running One UI 7.0.

Like the dummy that I am, I've been using NoScript on my phone and 2 PCs... independently picking out which scripts will prevent a website's most critical functionality from breaking by guessing.

I'm now finally coming to a point of wanting to merge them, since I sometimes go to different sites on my phone versus the PCs, etc.

Is there any tool or way to merge them in a pro-whitelist way? Like, if any of them has a script on a whitelist, then the synced result will put it on a whitelist. That'd be great!

I don't suppose there's a solution to it. I use https://search.trom.tf/ which cycles through a list of SearXNG instances, but some of them retrieve results that literally look like they belong to another query. Has anyone else experienced this?

The real-time chess of the different character classes in Bad North is truly incredible. I love how height makes a real advantage (or disadvantage if too close!) for archers' physics-driven arrows, all the details (despite being a minimalist game) like arrows getting stuck in targets' shields, your choices in what weapon specialties you can assign, the fluid and organic character movement and fighting, etc.

You also really come to care about your soldiers' survival since the death of squad leaders is (typically) permanent, so loss is extremely emotional, especially given how they're customizable with different items. And—like the world's greatest jigsaw puzzler, Glass Masquerade—almost any screenshot from the game could be made into a wallpaper, so that's awesome.

For those who have never played this game, it was just on sale at GreenManGaming for <$3 (IsThereAnyDeal rocks!). It was also given away via Epic Games some years ago, which is how I've been revisiting it.
